      The medallion was made by a priest named A. J. Mathieu who was also the commander of the Leyssard National Guard. The amount of masonic imagery in combination with the upside-down triangle and the fact that Mathieu was a (former?)priest is why Karmin thinks it was specifically an anti-christian medallion.
