  1. The WND story/list was May 26, 1999. Tony Gosling of Bilderberg.org was aware of the bogus list two days prior, and warned about it at his site.

Further, it was obviously put together by someone completely unfamiliar with the Atlantic/NATO bloc makeup of the group. Besides the Pope (lol) and Spielberg (lmao), it includes Arafat, Assad, various Israelis, Kofi Annan, Saudis and the Malaysian and Australian and Brazil PMs, among others. No one from those countries ever attended, nor would they.

A comparison of just the first few on the actual list, compared with the bogus one is even more striking. They got everyone wrong.

    Bogus
Ackerman, Duane – CEO Bell South
Ahern, Bertie – Prime Minister of Ireland
Alberthal, Les – CEO of Electronic Data Systems (EDS)
Albright, Madeleine – US Secretary of State
Al Saud, Waleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz – Saudi Prince
    Amichai, Yehuda – Israeli poet
Annan, Kofi – UN Secretary General

Real list which they send out to press
    I – Agnelli, Umberto – Chairman, IFIL – Fianziaria di Partecipazioni S.p.A.
E – Aguirre y Gil de Biedma, Esperanza – President of the Spanish Senate
USA – Allaire, Paul A. – Chairman, Xerox Corporation.
P – Amaral, Joaquim Freitas do Amaral – Member of Parliament.
S – Aslund, Anders – Senior Associate, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
P – Balsemão, Francisco Pinto – Professor of Communication Science, New University; Chairman, Impresa, S.G.P.S.
S – Barnevik, Percy – Chairman, Investor AB.

How Watson and Nimmo can pretend that this list is proof of Clinton being there is beyond me. I thought they had more knowledge about the Bilderberg group than that; and the actual list is published at Prison Planet anyway! Gosling and others knew it was bogus back in 1999, but WND went with it anyway.

Curious that they have been silent on Hillary attending in 1997, as well as Clinton at Steering Group 1995. A sitting president and a first lady – not worthy of news I guess. One would think they would shout THAT from the rooftops, especially now that Hillary is running for office and has been recorded denying any Bilderberg participation.

Good point. WND’s supposed guest list is rubbish of the first order. Watson and Nimmo’s attachment to it seems to be more about scoring a poltical point against Clinton with an amazing factoid. The Steering Committee visit in 1995 is far more intriguing as we only know for certain that it happened, but no more than that.
