Great article! FYI, you might want to check out William T. Still’s book, “New World Order: The Ancient Plan of Secret Societies” which has a chapter devoted to Bacon’s “Great Atlantean Plan”.

  2. Thanks! Read it back in the 90s. It was one of the first books I read on the masons. Influenced me quite a bit.

My friend’s name is Leo Melanson. I believe his most recent ancestry is from Nova Scotia or PEI. He now lives in B.C. You may be distantly related.

I have about a dozen old ‘The New Age Magazine’ in good condition. Another dozen in acceptable condition with torn covers or partially torn pages but otherwise all of them complete. They date back to the late teens and early 20’s. However, I can only find 1 as we have recently moved and a lot of our belongings are still packed in boxes. This one is dated January 1920. I am thinking of selling them on eBay once I locate them. Can you tell me their worth and how much you think I should ask?

    Sincerely,
    Steve Major

The name was changed after Paul A Fisher published “Behind the Lodge Door” (TAN Books 1991). He published a later book “Their God is the Devil” as well (title comes from a pronouncement of Pope Pius IX). Both of Fishers books cite the New Age journal extensively. Great reading from good journalist. Fisher wrote for The Wanderer newspaper and was DC editor for that newspaper for over a decade.
