When Malthusians Become Messiahs

by Phillip D. Collins, August 27th, 2009

Nowadays, anyone and everyone who raises a disparaging word about the Obama Administration’s policies is immediately assigned the stigma of “alarmist,” “scaremonger,” or “paranoid.” Perhaps such stigmas are actually applicable in some cases, like Genesis Communications Network radio talk show host Alex Jones and Fox News talk show host Glenn Beck. In both of these cases, there are, no doubt, serious sanity issues involved. However, those who have familiarized themselves with the résumé of President Obama’s recently appointed Science Czar, John Holdren, have good reason to be afraid.

Before I proceed any further, allow me to dissuade readers from ascribing any sort of partisan biases to me. I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican. Foreign policy commentator Robert Kagan once observed that this false dichotomy represents “two variations of the same worldview.” The dialectical commonalities exhibited by Republicans and Democrats bear out this contention. Neither party is interested in dismantling the labyrinthine machinations of Big Government or restoring the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. Both are merely committed to the maintenance of their two-party political cartel.

‘Nuff said.

Having dispelled any accusations of partisan prejudices, allow me to provide a brief overview of Holdren’s résumé. In 1977, Holdren co-authored Ecoscience with Paul and Anne Ehrlich. Of course, Paul Ehrlich was the environmental scientist who published The Population Bomb in 1968.

Survival of the Richest: Obama’s Corporate Stimulus Package

by Paul & Phillip D. Collins, June 24, 2009

After 125-years of operating in the Dayton region, National Cash Register (NCR) abruptly announced plans to relocate to Georgia on June 2, 2009. Starting in July 2009, NCR’s worldwide headquarters will move to Duluth, Ga. Meanwhile, the company will transplant its manufacturing operation in Columbus, Ga. Overall, the move will cost Dayton more than 2,100 jobs. NCR’s decision to relocate came as a shock to the Dayton community, which had had very little discourse with the company in the months preceding the announcement. Shock swiftly turned to resentment as Ohio’s elected officials voiced their dissatisfaction with NCR’s apparent indifference.

“I know that local leaders as well as our own Department of Development had reached out to NCR over a period of months,” Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland said. “The response from NCR was not very encouraging. They never really asked for any specific assistance from the state and their decision was made devoid of any serious dialogue or consultation with the local community.” (Strickland)

In an audio clip from his official website, Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) said, “I’m unhappy with NCR. They’re a 125-year-old Dayton company that always had community support. Hundreds of workers and their families had built this company in the Miami Valley and I was not at all happy, nor was the Chamber of Commerce and the Mayor and others in Dayton, with NCR’s executives’ unwillingness to even work with people locally and unwillingness to talk to people from the Governor on down” ( “Brown Expresses Disappointment in NCR Decision and Vows to Help Affected Workers”).

Yet, an even greater shock was the revelation that Georgia used money from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to facilitate the NCR deal.

The Floodgates Open Wide: Obama and our Eugenical Future

Featured-UNFPA

by Paul & Phillip D. Collins, Dec. 31st, 2008

“And except those days should be shortened, no flesh shall be saved…”

Matthew 24:22

Obama and the Resurrection of the UNFPA

Obama - Eugenics - UNFPA During his November 4, 2008 presidential acceptance speech, Barack Obama declared: “[C]hange has come to America.” Yet, Obama neglected to mention that not all of the changes in store for America, or the world in general, are positive. One of the more sinister changes the Obama Administration intends to introduce is a revival of eugenical regimentation.

In a 2007 questionnaire prepared by RH Reality Check, a pro-abortion organization, the Obama Campaign stated: “Senator Obama would overturn the global gag rule and reinstate funding for UNFPA” (Lynch, “Sen. Barack Obama’s RH Issues Questionnaire”). Representative Carolyn Maloney would later express her confidence in the Obama promise to fund the UNFPA during a press conference at the National Press Club (Starr, “Congresswoman Confident Obama Will Fund UNFPA, Which Supports China’s Coercive Abortion Program”). The conference, which highlighted the release of the 2008 UN report on the state of the world’s population, gave Maloney an opportunity to take the podium and declare that the Obama Administration would reinstate funding for the UNFPA (ibid).

China

The crimes and faults of the Bush regime are almost too many to count. That being said, the Bush Administration’s restriction of UNFPA funding was well-justified. When one looks at the UNFPA’s track record, it could be argued that drying up the UNFPA’s money well was one of those rare moments of clarity that have appeared on the radar over the last eight years. The decision was motivated by a report prepared by the Population Research Institute (PRI) entitled “UNFPA, China, and Coercive Family Planning” (Ertelt, “Group Confirms Obama Would Fund Forced Abortions if UNFPA Money Restored”). According to LifeNews.com editor Steven Ertelt, the report “is based on an investigation conducted by PRI researchers in China’s Sihui County” (ibid). While many in the liberal camp want to believe that the report was a concocted fantasy, nothing could be further from the truth. Ertelt elaborates:

Relying on interviews with over two dozen victims and witnesses, the 2001 investigation found that coercive abortion and sterilization practices were taking place where the UNFPA had supposedly instituted a “client-centered and voluntary family planning program.” In fact, PRI’s investigation discovered that the UNFPA shared an office with the very Chinese family planning officials who were carrying out forced abortions. (ibid)

The investigation’s findings were so egregious that they motivated Colin Powell, who was Bush’s Secretary of State at the time, to conduct his own investigation (ibid). Powell’s research team confirmed PRI’s findings and Powell recommended that the Bush Administration revoke UNFPA funding (ibid). It is ironic that such a prescription would come from a man who would go on to cast his lot in with the Obama camp. Apparently, the revelations were too damning for even Powell to ignore.

The Cambodian Memory Hole

by Paul David Collins ©, April 27th, 2007

Cambodia has a serious problem. Many of the nation’s young people are having a hard time wrapping their heads around the fact that the Khmer Rouge conducted a campaign of genocide in their country. Some even deny that the genocide ever happened. This fact is revealed in a recent movie entitled Wanting To See The Truth, which “shows footage of young Cambodians who do not believe stories of the atrocities of the late 1970s” (“Khmer Rouge film reveals horror,” no pagination). Evidently, this epidemic of historical denial is promulgated on an institutional level because the “period is not taught in schools” (no pagination).

The danger of national amnesia that Cambodia is now facing is a result of the globalization of the postmodern paradigm. We all want to instantly grasp the “Big Picture” without taking the necessary trip down Memory Lane. A thorough study of history is the only way one can gain a firm understanding of modern realities. However, like children, we resist this fact with all our strength so that we might be able to live in a perpetual “now.” Even I find myself having to fight the urge and temptation to approach the topics I study as if they are videotapes that I can fast forward directly to the end.

The power elite have helped promote this sorry state of affairs. It helps conceal their involvement in history’s crimes and atrocities. The Cambodian “killing fields” are certainly no exception. The postmodern mind has difficulty seeing the bloody fingerprints of the power elite upon Cambodia during the period of 1975 to 1979. Nonetheless, those who bother to revisit the crime scene can discover these fingerprints.

NSSM 200: The Politics of Genocide

The motivation for the Cambodian genocide can be found in a document entitled National Security Study Memorandum (NSSM) 200. The National Security Council (NSC) under Henry Kissinger’s guidance put this document together in 1974. The thesis was quite simple: population growth in lesser-developed countries constitutes a threat to national security. NSSM 200 named target countries:

Two Coastal Marine Disasters and the Fingerprint of Malthus

It’s now been over four years since the Deepwater Horizon oil drilling platform suffered a “blow out” while operating in the Gulf of Mexico, causing it to catch fire and sink. Tragically, eleven persons working on the platform at the time of the explosion lost their lives and about twenty others were injured. In addition, countless numbers of residents living along the Gulf coast were indirectly affected as a result of the disaster’s impact on the marine ecosystem. Although it’s generally accepted as fact that the Gulf disaster was an accident resulting from negligence on the part of BP and its contractors, contemporaneous as well as historical evidence strongly suggests otherwise.

An Earlier Precedent

It may come as a surprise for some to learn that the Gulf disaster wasn’t the first environmental disaster of such serious consequence to occur in U.S. coastal waters.[1] Roughly ten years earlier, another serious environmental disaster had mostly run its course involving the Atlantic coast that, although lacking the toxic character of the more recent event, shared much the same practical, long-term consequences of it. Unlike the Gulf disaster however, this earlier event occurred with little notice on the part of the media or the public. One reason for this is because, unlike most disasters we’re accustomed to hearing about, this one unfolded, not in a matter of hours or even days, but rather, over the course of decades. In fact, the seeds of this disaster were already being sown prior to the 20th century!

The Ruling Class-Sponsored Race War and the Balkanization of America

Strange Confluences: The Tanton Network

On February 13, 2002, U.S. Representative Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) and former San Diego congressman Brian Bilbray addressed a sizable audience concerned with illegal immigration issues (“The Puppeteer,” no pagination). Hosted at the Cannon House Office Building in Washington, D.C., the event was the prelude to a two-day lobbying campaign (no pagination). The discerning researcher who investigates this event will automatically identify intimations of a racist Fifth Column, which threatens to subsume the Minutemen Project and subvert efforts to restore America’s border integrity. A white supremacist newsletter entitled the Citizens Informer was made available at the meeting (no pagination). This newsletter is published by the Council of Conservative Citizens, a racist organization financed by the Shea Foundation (no pagination).

More importantly, this assembly was “masterminded by NumbersUSA,” which is but one appendage of a larger organizational octopus (no pagination). When NumbersUSA executive director Roy Beck addressed the audience, he admonished activists to underplay the organization’s involvement in the lobbying effort on Capitol Hill (no pagination). Beck candidly stated that the campaign “needs to look like a grassroots effort” (no pagination). However, NumbersUSA is anything but a grassroots organization. The Southern Poverty Law Center Intelligence Report elaborates:

Robert Zubrin on Radical Environmentalists and Misanthropes

‘In his latest book, Merchants of Despair: Radical Environmentalists, Criminal Pseudo-Scientists, and the Fatal Cult of Antihumanism, Zubrin documents the history of dystopian environmentalism, from economic impairment inflicted by current global warming policies to the Malthusian concern over population growth. “Just think how much poorer we would be today if the world would have had half as many people in the 19th century as it actually did. You can get rid of Thomas Edison or Louis Pasteur, take your pick.’

“Meltzer’s Decoded,” the Georgia Guidestones, R.C. Christian and his “Rational World Society”

Originally Published at Conspiracy Archive on 2011/02/05

I’ve only watched three episodes of Meltzer’s show, online, and each of them was dissatisfying. The latest one on the Georgia Guidestones was especially so.

The Meltzer gang of ostensible noobs, drive up to the monument in a brand new Porsche Cayenne. (Way to go guys, my kind of sponsor!) After giving the stones a quick look, they are approached by Raymond Wiley who proceeds with an accurate but cursory account. Wiley mentions that people have suspected a Malthusian, new world order agenda behind it. I would also have included the words “population control” and eugenics. But guess what? Not a single mention of it again in the whole episode. Instead they focus on the Rosicrucian angle and neglect to actually get to the bottom of the message. Hey, History channel “researchers” – you do know that Mr. “Christian,” in a booklet, actually expounded further on the matter, don’t you? More on that later.

Back on the road, Bud starts talking about trying to find out the identity of R. C. Christian, and whether he was really involved with the Rosicrucians. Scott, however, interrupts with a better line of thought: “Don’t you wonder what’s running through the mind of a person who conceived of that [whole] idea?”

Malthusian ‘Global Government’ Diane Francis

Originally Published at Conspiracy Archive on 2009/12/14

Diane-FrancisThe subheadline in Diane Francis’ now-infamous article reads: “The whole world needs to adopt China’s one-child policy.” However, the verb “adopt” really just sugarcoats what she’s actually advocating.

She writes that a “one-child policy,” “planetary law … is the only way,” and admits that China’s one-child-only measure is in fact an edict: e.g. an authoritarian/totalitarian decree. Nothing will work to cure “environmental degradation,” unless “a China one-child policy is imposed.” “Governments should control family sizes,” or we’ll regret it, she writes.

The Facade of “Global Salvationism”

Originally Published at Conspiracy Archive on 2009/12/04

According to Mr. Henderson, the great psycho-wave of the past 35 years is “global salvationism.” This quasi-religious belief has two ill-fitting articles of faith: environmental alarmism, and the assertion that Third World poverty is in some way due to the West taking more than its fair share of global resources. Both problems are alleged to require top-down global political solutions, including giant corporations accepting more “social responsibility.”

The focus of this global master-plan is the bland but subversive notion of “sustainable development,” that without extensive UN-administered government controls the world is going to Hades in a handbasket …

– Peter Foster, “The Prince of Power [Maurice Strong],Financial Post (May 19, 2005)

I can’t think of a better way to put Climategate into proper perspective than to revisit a 1998 Financial Post editorial titled “Global Warming: The Real Agenda.” Its author, Terence Corcoran, quoted from statements given to the Calgary Herald by the former Environment Minister, Christine Stewart.

As “minister of the environment, I am very worried about global warming,” Stewart said, “no matter if the science is phony, there are collateral environmental benefits.”
