    In that case, what we are dealing with is not gnosticism at all, but merely a bastardization of gnosticism or a new pseudo-religion which borrows a few concepts from the ancient gnostics. What you describe in the article is as different from authentic gnosticism as prosperity theology is different from authentic christianity.
