Bill Gates talks about ‘vaccines to reduce population’

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010 - by Terry Melanson

F. William Engdahl, 4 March 2010

Microsoft founder and one of the world’s wealthiest men, Bill Gates, projects an image of a benign philanthropist using his billions via his (tax exempt) Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to tackle diseases, solve food shortages in Africa and alleviate poverty. In a recent conference in California, Gates reveals a less public agenda of his philanthropy―population reduction, otherwise known as eugenics.

Gates made his remarks to the invitation-only Long Beach, California TED2010 Conference, in a speech titled, “Innovating to Zero!.” Along with the scientifically absurd proposition of reducing manmade CO2 emissions worldwide to zero by 2050, approximately four and a half minutes into the talk, Gates declares, “First we got population. The world today has 6.8 billion people. That’s headed up to about 9 billion. Now if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 percent.”1 (author’s emphasis).

In plain English, one of the most powerful men in the world states clearly that he expects vaccines to be used to reduce population growth. When Bill Gates speaks about vaccines, he speaks with authority. In January 2010 at the elite Davos World Economic Forum, Gates announced his foundation would give $10 billion (circa €7.5 billion) over the next decade to develop and deliver new vaccines to children in the developing world.

The primary focus of his multi-billion dollar Gates Foundation is vaccinations, especially in Africa and other underdeveloped countries. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is a founding member of the GAVI Alliance (Global Alliance for Vaccinations and Immunization) in partnership with the World Bank, WHO and the vaccine industry. The goal of GAVI is to vaccinate every newborn child in the developing world.2

Global Warming: The ‘Anthropocentric’ Crisis (Part 4)

Saturday, February 20th, 2010 - by Terry Melanson

Arnold Bock - February 14, 2010

The global climate warming fuss is not principally an environmental issue but, rather, it is a manufactured crisis supported by copious amounts of manipulated science, reinforced by opinion leaders and promulgated by the cheerleading of the mass media. Global warming has become the mother of all politically correct issues. www.MunKnee.com; By: Arnold Bock; Words: 1551

Various components of the warming cause, which are only tangentially related to the environment, have been outlined at some length in Part 1 (Global Warming: The Man-Made Crisis), Part 2 (U.S. and Canada Are Global Warming Scapegoats) and Part 3 (Why Should WE Make Sacrifices to Offset Global Warming?) of this series. However, it is important to comment on what has been regularly presented as scientific justification for sounding alarm bells over climate change, if for no other reason than to set the record straight.

Global Warming is Not a Proven Fact

Simply put, climate change – originally an emerging new ice age, then global warming and now climate change – is not a proven fact. To sarcastically mimic the affected gravitas of certain warming experts, we might call it an “anthropocentrically manufactured” issue. As mentioned in Part 2, in the late 1960’s the United Nations assigned Canadian Maurice Strong, a man possessed of a strong belief in the merits of global governance and the need to establish transnational governmental institutions, to head up what subsequently came to be known as the global climate change initiative.

The Grasp of Socialist International

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010 - by Terry Melanson

William Jasper - Feb 16 2010

World government and world socialism. Those are the explicit goals of the Socialist International (SI), one of the planet’s most influential organizations, but one that is virtually unknown to the vast majority of Americans, since it is rarely mentioned in the major U.S. media.

For the last two weeks of December 2009 and throughout all of January 2010 the headline story at the top of the home page of the Socialist International’s website boasted of the organization’s prominent influence and clout at the recently concluded United Nations Climate Change Summit in Copenhagen, Denmark. However, the brief article, entitled “SI at COP15 in Copenhagen: reaffirming social democratic priorities,” does not begin to do justice to the Socialist International’s central role, not only in pushing the current alarmism over global warming, but also in building a global militant environmental lobby from 1970 to the present.

The SI was most notably represented in Copenhagen by its president, George Papandreou, who is also the current Prime Minister of Greece.

“At this time, we are observing the birth of global governance,” Papandreou said while addressing the UN summit on December 18. “We must, however, agree to an obligation and be committed to carrying this out,” he stressed.

US sovereignty and the Climate Summit

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

James Simpson - October 21, 2009

Not content with his humiliation at Copenhagen this past September, President Obama will be traveling again to the Danish capital in December to attend the U.N. COP15 Climate Change Conference. This agreement would commit the United States to punitive and expensive greenhouse gas regulations dictated by the United Nations without recourse.

COP stands for “Conference of the Parties” and the December Copenhagen conference will be the 15th under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), hence COP15. According to their website, it will be one of the largest conferences ever held outside the New York or Geneva headquarters, with an anticipated attendance of over 10,000 people, including governmental representatives from 189 countries, industry groups, and other non-governmental organizations.

Who’s afraid of billions of people?

Sunday, July 12th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Brendan O’Neill - 9 July 2009

It is UN World Population Day on Saturday 11 July, when various United Nations bodies will try to convince us that population growth is the cause of much of the planet’s economic and environmental crises. Here, we publish an edited version of a speech given by spiked editor Brendan O’Neill in London on 3 July, in which he argued against all attempts to curb human numbers.

Today, I want to argue that there should be absolutely no limits on population growth and no attempt whatsoever to cajole, coerce or convince people into having fewer children. I hope that in my lifetime the human population on Earth will reach the tens of billions, and it will not be a problem if, in the future, it rises to hundreds of billions.

The reason I say this is because our attitudes to the population level fundamentally reflect our attitudes to human ingenuity. The population debate is frequently dressed up in demographic and scientific clothing, but really it is a political issue, reflecting different political attitudes. Where you stand on population today tells us a lot about where you stand on the idea of progress, of civilisation, and of humanity itself.

UN’s Marxist Plan for Global Government

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

William F. Jasper - 09 June 2009

United Nations General Assembly President Miguel D’Escoto Brockmann intends to leave his mark on the United Nations and the global economic-political picture before his one-year term ends in September. D’Escoto, a longtime top official in the communist Sandinista government of Nicaragua, has chosen as his primary vehicle for making this mark the UN Conference on the World’s Financial and Economic Crisis to be held June 24-26 at the UN headquarters in New York.

The D’Escoto-UN plan, which has received scant media coverage, is nothing short of s full-blown call for world government administered through the UN. The Draft Outcome Document issued by D’Escoto on May 8, 2009 on behalf of the “G-192″ (the representatives of the 192 Member States of the UN), decries the evils of “a profit centered economy” and the current “prevailing socio-economic system” and declares: “The anti-values of greed, individualism, and exclusion should be replaced by solidarity, common good and inclusion.”

How do D’Escoto and his UN comrades propose to accomplish this? The 19-page document lays out a Sandinista-style Marxist-Leninist program for the entire planet that involves global government, with a huge new global bureaucracy exercising vast powers over all human activity.

UN Panel Welcomes Debate Over New Global Reserve Currency

Monday, April 6th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)–The head of a United Nations expert panel discussing solutions to the financial crisis on Thursday welcomed the debate over a new global reserve currency and said it would be best managed by a brand new institution.

Just days ahead of the Group of 20 heads of state meeting in London, several key players have weighed in with solutions to resolve the current financial crisis and to prevent future recurrences. One of the most sensitive subjects is the creation of a new de facto global reserve currency to replace the U.S. dollar.

Announcement encourages lowly earthlings to salute global governance

The European Space Agency next Friday will launch a copy of the UN’s 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights to a permanent spot aboard a space lab orbiting the Earth.

It’s a symbolic gesture, celebrating an empty promise, which the UN made 60 years ago to protect the world’s most vulnerable people.

“In recognition of the fact that human beings are at times downtrodden, the Declaration can symbolically find its place ‘above’ all the peoples of the world,” ESA astronaut Léopold Eyharts said in an announcement (link, below).

Rural Landowners Getting Screwed By Their City Cousins

Monday, October 13th, 2008 - by Terry Melanson

Ron Ewart - October 3, 2008

A while back, one of our rural neighbors was hauled off to jail for a trumped-up land use violation by an out-of-control, zealous prosecuting attorney and an insane district court judge, taken with his own judicial power and consumed with making an example out of this landowner, in order to “scare” other landowners into strict compliance with environmental law.

These rural victims of alleged environmental protection law violations are everywhere in America, because rural Americans went to sleep and allowed their government and the city folk to usurp almost every single right they had under our constitution, in the name of socialism, but mostly radical environmentalism.

Based on an irrational premise to protect the environment at any cost and implementing radical environmental policies, federal, state and local legislators are and have passed laws to force people into a mold that goes against the very biological grain of human existence.  This irrational premise is so-called “smart growth” and “sustainable development”, hatched in the United Nations under Agenda 21 and codified into law by an executive order, issued by President Clinton, without a treaty being debated and ratified in the U. S. Congress.  This pack-’em-in-like-sardines UN agenda is therefore unconstitutional, but that hasn’t stopped all levels of our government from implementing it.

Liberty or Sustainable Development? - Part 8

Rooting Sustainable Development in the USA

Allow me to introduce you to father of American Sustainable Development, George Bush the Elder.

We need to remember that the ideas the United States was founded on and the ideas the United Nations was founded on are antithetical to each other. One recognizes that our rights as human beings are inherent. The other seeks to make our rights the subject and object of political grant.

So how is the United Nations Agenda 21 Sustainable Development being implemented in the United States? First; all federal agencies are openly committed to Sustainable Development policies. The State Department reports our “progress” to the United Nations. Our tax dollars are being used to implement Sustainable development in order to steal our freedom!

In addition, 2,000 NGO’s in the United States are accredited by the United Nations. The purpose of accreditation is to implement Sustainable Development policy. The list of NGOs who implement Sustainable Development policies include…

Liberty or Sustainable Development? - Part 7

Sunday, September 21st, 2008 - by Terry Melanson

Michael Shaw - September 20, 2008

It is important to know that the land use element of Sustainable Development has two action plans:

1. First is the Wildlands Project which seeks to eliminate human presence on over 50% of the American landscape while imposing massive controls on activity on the rest of American land.
2. Second is the Smart Growth action plan. This promotes dense “human settlements”. This leads to increased central controls on how we live and increased restrictions on our mobility.

Top UN Official Applauds Plummeting Births, Calls for Protection of Sodomy

Friday, September 19th, 2008 - by Terry Melanson

Susan Yoshihara, Ph.D. - September 18, 2008

(NEW YORK – C-FAM)  At United Nations headquarters last week, UN Population Fund (UNFPA) executive director Thoraya Obaid called for more funding for population programs, including reducing fertility, promoting “reproductive health services,” and “de-stigmatizing” sodomy.

Obaid began her remarks by commemorating the 40th anniversary of Paul Erlich’s book, The Population Bomb, which alarmed readers about the threat of “overpopulation” and justified the establishment of UNFPA. While she admitted the book’s prediction of “massive starvation on a large scale has not come to pass,” she nonetheless called for renewed commitment to boilerplate population control policies such as promoting smaller families, warning nations that world population had grown from 3.5 billion to 6.7 billion since 1968.
