Our man at Bilderberg: I’m ready to lose control, but they’re not

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Funnyman gets it:

I am so unbelievably backteeth sick of power being flexed by the few. I’ve had it flexed in my face for three days, and it’s up my nose like a wasp. I don’t care whether the Bilderberg Group is planning to save the world or shove it in a blender and drink the juice, I don’t think politics should be done like this. This might be a facile point, but if they were organising a charity snooker league, they could do it upstairs at Starbucks. If they were trying to cure cancer they could do it with the lights on. Innocent thoughts can be minuted.

[...] Bilderberg is about positions of control. I get within half a mile of it, and suddenly I’m one of the controlled. I’m followed, watched, logged, detained, detained again. I’d been put in that position by the “power” that was up the road.

Likewise, the Bilderberg delegates occupy a position of power over the bobbing ignorance of the people patting beach balls in the sea, and me with my crappy little camera and my curiosity and my ill-formed sense of citizenship.

Conspiracy of big wigs ruling world

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Kevin Brooker - May 11, 2009

Congratulations, it’s your lucky day. Merely plow on-ward for a few paragraphs and you will have the rare privilege of saying you once read about the Bilderberg Group in a daily news article.

Oh, sure, there are over a million feverish Internet pages on the phenomenon, and you can buy plenty of self-published books about it from obscure mail-order houses in Texas, but the mainstream media usually don’t have much to say about it–largely because there simply isn’t much to talk about that doesn’t quickly get embarrassing if you want to believe that the western world is a democratically run operation.

That’s because the Group, which consists of up to 150 self-selected world leaders in royalty, politics, business and media, meets annually at a secret location and releases neither an agenda, nor a list of attendees, nor any record of what was discussed at the conference.

Annual Elite Conclave, 58th Bilderberg Meeting to be held in Greece, May 14-17

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

By Kris Millegan

The 2009 Bilderberg Group Conference will be held at the five-star Nafsika Astir Palace Hotel in Vouliagmeni, Greece, May 14-17, according to author Daniel Estulin. Insiders have told Estulin that rooms have been booked and flight plans made. He has also confirmed the location and dates with sources in Greece. Estulin is the world’s foremost investigative authority on this annual secretive and exclusive assembly, having investigated and infiltrated their meetings for over ten years.

His books and reporting have helped to bring the powerful group out of the shadows, even directly affecting the very conduct and timing of the meetings … and encapsulating them in an even deeper shroud of secrecy. The Bilderberg Group started meeting in 1954, with funding from the CIA, to gather together the top Western bankers, politicians, media barons, corporate CEO’s and European royalty in annual gatherings for frank discussions on important issues of the day.

Editorial: Bilderbergers Are Criminals, Traitors According to U.S. Law

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

(American Free Press) - ALL AMERICANS WHO PARTICIPATE in secret Bilderberg meetings are criminals and traitors. The Logan Act expressly forbids U.S. citizens to negotiate public policy with representatives of foreign governments. Thus, American officials and private citizens who participate are lawbreaking criminals.

U.S. and foreign government officials who attend are virtually all traitors because they put their world government goal ahead of the interests of their own nations. They scorn “nationalism” and work for “transnationalism.” All Bilderberg “regulars” must support these goals or be ostracized. More than 100 of the 120 or so attendees are “regulars,” invited every year. Typically, five or so participants are first-timers. A potential president is likely to be invited once but tossed aside when his political star dims, as former Vice President Dan Quayle can attest.

Borderless World the Long-held Dream of Bilderberg Group

Monday, April 6th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

By James P. Tucker, Jr.

Bilderberg will continue to push for world government at the May 14-19 secret meeting in Vouliagmeni, Greece, according to a participant. Alice Rivlin, who has represented the Brookings Institution at Bilderberg, smiled and nodded when asked if the agenda this year includes “world government, a world without borders and an American Union.”

These have been Bilderberg goals for many years but have been blocked by what participants refer to sneeringly as “nationalism.” Bilderberg intends to expand the North American Free Trade Agreement throughout the Western Hemisphere as a prelude to establishing an “American Union” similar to the European Union. The ultimate goal is a world government under the UN. Her greatest Bilderberg thrill?

“Sitting next to the queen,” she replied, referring to Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.

Plutocrats Meet in Greece

Monday, April 6th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

AFP on the trail of Bilderberg group: Site near Athens, Greece, is verified to be scene of 2009 globalist coven

James P. Tucker, Jr. - American Free Press

Bilderberg will return to its 1993 crime scene when it attempts to meet secretly in Vouliagmeni, Greece, May 14-17. Bilderberg will return to the grounds of Nafsika Astir Palace hotels in Vouliagmeni, 20 miles outside Athens, and meet behind guards at the Westin Nafsika.

High on the Bilderberg agenda will be how to manipulate the global economic crisis for their selfish interests. They will pressure both European and North American nations to pull back from “protectionism” in the later meetings of heads of state. Since the international financiers and high officials of government see themselves as “citizens of the world” and scorn “nationalism,” their only loyalty is bankrolls, not their country. They love free trade, essential for world government.

Thus, they are determined that the United States and other nations refuse to impose tariffs that would equalize competition at the water’s edge. They want to continue shipping U.S. manufacturing jobs overseas where cheap labor may be exploited. They want to continue importing products made by slave labor in China and Africa, underselling domestic products.

Bilderbergers excite conspiracists

Monday, March 16th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Kenneth P. Vogel - March 15, 2009

The highest levels of the Obama administration are infested with members of a shadowy, elitist cabal intent on installing a one-world government that subverts the will of the American people.

It sounds crazy, but that’s what a group of very persistent conspiracy theorists insists, and they point to President Obama’s nominee for Health and Human Services Secretary, Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, as the latest piece of evidence supporting their claims.

It turns out that Sebelius – like top administration economists Timothy Geithner, Larry Summers and Paul Volcker, as well as leading Obama diplomats Richard Holbrooke and Dennis Ross – is a Bilderberger. That is, she is someone who has participated in the annual invitation-only conference held by an elite international organization known as the Bilderberg group.

Bilderberger Jonathon Porritt: “having more than two children is irresponsible”

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

- Terry Melanson (2009/2/4)

Elite Malthusian Hubris, and the “Global Population Speak Out” agenda

In a Feb. 1st article in the Sunday Times by Sarah-Kate Templeton, Jonathon Porritt is quoted as saying:

I am unapologetic about asking people to connect up their own responsibility for their total environmental footprint and how they decide to procreate and how many children they think are appropriate….

I think we will work our way towards a position that says that having more than two children is irresponsible. It is the ghost at the table. We have all these big issues that everybody is looking at and then you don’t really hear anyone say the “p” word.

…We still have one of the highest rates of teenage pregnancies in Europe and we still have relatively high levels of pregnancies going to birth, often among women who are not convinced they want to become mothers.

Not only should we do our part for mother earth and have less babies, in the last paragraph, Porritt is of the opinion that more pregnancies should be “aborted.” After all, what better way to curb population (the “p” word) - in the name of fighting global warming, of course - than to cull the useless eaters when they are the most vulnerable, right? Genius, those eco-totalitarians. Genius!

NWO destroys old liberties

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Adam Brown - 2/2/09

Have you heard the “conspiracy” that a few powerful people control the world? Well there’s some truth in that fiction. Since 1954 the Bilderberg Group has been meeting in secrecy planning the future of the world according to Daniel Estulin’s book, “The True Story of The Bilderberg Group.” What are they after, you might be asking? Complete globalization of the entire world, where only the elite can have a say in what transpires.

What are some of the effects of globalization? The end of individual national sovereignty, integration of economies and dozens more. The article “North American Union to Replace USA” by Jerome Corse reports plans for a North American Union where the U.S., Canada and Mexico are united by trade laws and corporate greed, not human need. Not surprisingly enough, there is little to no Congressional oversight or knowledge of what is being carried out or attempted. By globalizing and not localizing political decisions, our elected representatives and the American people are not having a say in the future of America.

Why Ahmadinejad Fears Khatami

Sunday, December 21st, 2008 - by Terry Melanson

By Amir Taheri

The Islamic Republic in Iran is facing “a sinister international conspiracy” designed to “replace religious rule with secularism.” The plot was allegedly hatched by a “secret society of Freemasons” known as the Bilderberg Group whose members include many of the Western world’s richest and most powerful businessmen and politicians.

The alleged conspiracy was finalized at a secret meeting of the group in June 1999 in Caesar Park Hotel in the Portuguese resort of Penha Longa. Inside Iran, the executors of the “plot” included the so-called Reform Movement symbolized by former President Mohammed Khatami who attended the meeting along with his then assistant on environmental affairs Mrs. Massoumeh Ebtekar.

The so-called Bilderberg “lodge” is often described by conspiracy theorists as “the secret government of the world”.

Bilderberger Gideon Rachman: “the formation of some sort of world government is plausible”

Gotcha! Left: Rachman at the 2003 Bilderberg Meeting in France; right: Rachman's mug at his blog

“Rapporteur” Gideon Rachman wrote a piece for the Financial Times on Dec. 8th, 2008: “And now for a world government.” Let’s take a look.

I have never believed that there is a secret United Nations plot to take over the US. I have never seen black helicopters hovering in the sky above Montana. But, for the first time in my life, I think the formation of some sort of world government is plausible.

Perhaps you have never believed it, but the elite conclave to which you have been privy certainly have. You neglected to mention your previous attendance of the 2003 and 2004 Bilderberg meetings at Versailles, France, and Stresa, Italy, respectively. You see, commoners - dubbed “useless eaters” - have been keeping tabs on the elite confab for 20+ years (call it grass-roots journalism). In 2003 and 2004, you were listed thus: GB - Rachman, Gideon - Brussels Correspondent, The Economist. Traditionally, “Rapporteurs” have been allowed to attend meetings such as these on condition of subservience and silence. To the commoners who expect “rapporteurs” to do their job and “report”; it’s called “breach of trust” and collusion. To the “global governance” internationalists; it’s called “Chatham House Rules.”

Financial Times Editorial Admits Agenda For Dictatorial World Government

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008 - by Terry Melanson

Tuesday, December 9, 2008

The Financial Times, one of the most respected and widely read newspapers on the planet, features an editorial today that openly admits the agenda to create a world government based on anti-democratic principles and concedes that the term “global governance” is merely a euphemism for the move towards a centralized global government.

For years we were called paranoid nutcases for warning about the elite’s plans to centralize global power and destroy American sovereignty. Throughout the 1990’s people who talked about the alarming move towards global government were smeared as right-wing lunatics by popular culture and the media.

Now the agenda is out in the open and in our faces, the debunkers have no more ammunition with which to deride us.

A jaw-dropping editorial written by the Financial Times’ chief foreign affairs commentator Gideon Rachman entitled ‘And now for a world government’ lays out the plan for global government and how it is being pushed with deceptive language and euphemisms in order to prevent people from becoming alarmed.

The True Story of the Bilderberg Group - Daniel Estulin - Book Review

Daniel Estulin
The True Story of the Bilderberg Group
Trine Day Books
5.5/10

Since the dawn of mankind, or at least the turn of the last century, conspiracy theories have always existed. From the Kennedy assassinations to rumors of an underground network of brainwashed sex slaves, such rumors have always benefited from the supposed secrecy of the shadowy organizations they addressed, whether they be the Freemasons or the Central Intelligence Agency. These groups are said to run the world, and in some cases they’ve come close to doing just that, but the truth is hardly that simple. Nor do their tentacles extend as far as some conspiracy theorists- and even the groups’ leaders themselves- would hope. Yet that is exactly what Daniel Estulin claims in his new book The True Story of the Bilderberg Group. It is an alarming tale of greed, paranoia, and power run amok, and yet, in many ways the book suffers from the same affliction as its subjects.

Integration with the United States?

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008 - by Terry Melanson

North American Forum

U.S. Secretary of Energy Samuel Bodman at the World Affairs Council of Northern California's fourth North American Forum, June 16, 2008 in Washington, DC.

Kristin Bricker - October 17, 2008

Every year since 2005, a group of military officials, ex-directors of the CIA, and officials and ex-officials from Mexico, Canada, and the United States have secretly met in some isolated place in North America to discuss, however unbelievable it seems, the scenarios that could bring us to the integration of the three countries.  Luxury hotels and exclusive retreats set the scene for a troubling “integration” that we know nothing about, because the group doesn’t publish its agenda or its resolutions.

The directors of the continent’s most important oil companies also attend these meetings, which feel like a SPECTRE meeting from James Bond movies (with wealthy gentlemen, luxury cars, and decorated high-ranking military officials).  But we shouldn’t give them more credit than they deserve, because in reality the forum is this side of the Atlantic’s copy of the Bilderberg Club, a European group of aristocrats and “dignitaries,” of which little is known, formed in Holand in 1954 in order to promote understanding between the United States and Western Europe after a great war, and later to influence the formation of the European Community.

The North American Forum conspirators are presided over by a triumvirate made up of Pedro Aspe Armella, ex-secretary of the Mexican Treasury under Carlos Salinas de Gortari (which explains a lot); George Shultz, ex-secretary of State and current advisor to George W. Bush and Dick Cheney (which explains even more); and Peter Lougheed, ex-prime minister of Alberta province, involved during his term in petroleum and natural gas issues.
