Who are Canada’s ‘freemen’?

Across the country, police and officials have been having similar run-ins with “freemen,” also known as “sovereign citizens,” members of a radical movement that does not recognize government authority and consequently refuses to licence their cars, carry government ID or obey police.
“We have thousands of members now,” said Mr. Rasila, who writes on the Freemen of Canada Facebook page, which has over 2,000 members. “We have meetings, we’re fairly organized. They’re very casual, usually just in someone’s living room or we’ll rent a hall.”
Canada’s freemen are a loose collection of true believers, ranging from tax protesters to 9/11 conspiracists to fathers whose children have been apprehended by child welfare agencies. What unites them is their dislike of government.
Self-declared defenders of individual freedom, they are anti-government extremists in the sense that, rather than opposing specific policies, they deny government has any legitimacy at all and want to be left alone to live according to their own rules.

I had a freeman live in my basement for 10yrs. Then I was tossed out of work and left with no income, freeman started looking like a squatter. The concept of freemen seems to need the help of wage slaves to be entirely workable. Not complaining but if freeman is in sight, I head the other way.

Being a Freeman doesn’t mean you can’t work and make a good living.It means you don’t just hand over 40% of that living to international bank owners.You do realise that we have the same money system as the states.We think our income tax is spent on the countries programs,the unemployed,medical,the elderly ect… I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not,all of these,the big three,have their own income from deduction and monthly payment.This idea that in Canada we have a free health system is a joke.Try getting doctor appointments or even surgery without insurance.Pay your premiums or suffer.It’s mindbending,how far is the average joe gonna go before he say’s heyyyy that can’t be right.You know how we all laugh in derision at how stupid a frog or lobster is when it stays in a pot of water thats slowly coming to a boil?

to cont.. there is only one way to save yourself when your the one in the pot.Jump the hell out.!!We need a global non-compliance effort.The only way it will work is if millions do it.Don’t vote,don’t let your boss pay your taxes,think of the pressure you’ll put on these crooks.Its not against the law.No law says you HAVE to vote,no law says you HAVE to pay taxes earlier than tax time.Remember this money goes to the banks.Not to the poor.A little known fact…Do you know that only ten percent of our national debt is principal,90% of our debt 400 bil plus is INTEREST,THIS IS WHERE YOUR TAX MONEY GOES.

For those that think i’m insane,heres a general explanation of what our idiots in power are doing.Say your the finance minister,you know nothing of the old boy network,you’re brand new.This is obviously flawed believe me NOBODY GETS TO BE MINISTER OF ANYTHING WITHOUT BEING THOROUGHLY FAMILIAR WITH ALL THE CROTCHES OF THE OLD BOY NETWORK.Bear with me anyway,you need money to operate the next year,but you run either a balanced budget or a deficit rarely do we run a surplus.So where is the money?You go to the banks and say we need cash the banks say we’ll draw you up a loan.The actual interest we pay on this loan is elusive.You expect the people of Canada to borrow money from their own bank account and pay interest on it?The bank execs say you’ve been doing it that way since 33.Think about it,your wife charging you interest to take money from your own paycheck.You’d tell her to stuff it.So why,when your not getting any nookie,except receiving, from these crooks,do you not tell them to STUFF IT??Instead you call the people who are trying,assholes,losers conspiracy nuts,on and on.You are Our deterrent You stop us from turning this around.I’m not officially a freeman,but I don’t pay taxes,have’nt in 12 years don’t use a sin don’t have a credit card,Most of the time I don’t pay sales tax.I buy my food from local farms and flea markets
