Carbon Currency: A New Beginning for Technocracy?

Patrick Wood - January 26, 2010

Critics who think that the U.S. dollar will be replaced by some new global currency are perhaps thinking too small.

On the world horizon looms a new global currency that could replace all paper currencies and the economic system upon which they are based.

The new currency, simply called Carbon Currency, is designed to support a revolutionary new economic system based on energy (production, and consumption), instead of price. Our current price-based economic system and its related currencies that have supported capitalism, socialism, fascism and communism, is being herded to the slaughterhouse in order to make way for a new carbon-based world.

t is plainly evident that the world is laboring under a dying system of price-based economics as evidenced by the rapid decline of paper currencies. The era of fiat (irredeemable paper currency) was introduced in 1971 when President Richard Nixon decoupled the U.S. dollar from gold. Because the dollar-turned-fiat was the world’s primary reserve asset, all other currencies eventually followed suit, leaving us today with a global sea of paper that is increasingly undesired, unstable, unusable.

The deathly economic state of today’s world is a direct reflection of the sum of its sick and dying currencies, but this could soon change.

One Response to “Carbon Currency: A New Beginning for Technocracy?”

  1. Ross Says:

Just saw tonight’s Daily Show and Colbert Report (tonight being Feb 10, 2010). Both did bits mocking the foolish and evil “Global Warming Deniers” who have used the recent snow storm to debunk Gore and Co’s bogus agenda. Nice damage control on behalf of your paymasters Jon Stewart! You’re usually so critical of the media’s sloppy, “don’t even scratch the surface”, coverage of important issues and yet you slam global warming critics through a selective editing of their key arguments.

Both shows used essentially the same straw-man tactics, saying deniers are using the upper eastern sea board snow storm alone to attack global warming. No, actually Jon & Steve, they’re using the fact that there has been an abnormally large snowfall in most of the U.S, England, Continental, Europe even much of Asia this winter.

They’re also questioning global warming because it’s most vocal proponents are some of the very same scientists who in the 70’s cried global cooling. Though the apocalyptic prognostications were so different as to be on either end of the thermometer, what did remain consistent was the supposed cause (the use of fossil fuels) and the supposed solutions (The imposition of radical Malthusian policies, over hauling the entire Western industrial infrastructure, increased State control, and the disintegration of National sovereignty.)

You would accuse “deniers” of being politically driven, and yet for the originators of the global warming (formerly cooling) thesis, it should be clear to all but an utter fool that the politics precede the data. And don’t try the “deniers are in the pocket of big oil” argument, since much of the world’s oil elite are very much behind the global warming agenda. Queen Beatrix, the Rockefellers, etc. You’re so ready to stick it to Republican scumbags like Bush, Comedy Central, but you lack either the guts or the brains to go after your heroes in the so-called ‘liberal’ left.
