The Gnostic Art of Derridadaism

I. DA BACKGROUNDER. Some years ago the TH2 had the mischance of tuning in to a radio station, to one of those pretentious “Arts and Culture” programs on the CBC, Canada’s Fabianist broadcaster. It was covering an interview with an artist influenced (read deceived) by the deconstructionist movement. The hour was late, the body weary, TH2 was in bed, ready to sleep and enter into his own dreams, which are very deconstructionist–like in their imagery. Though TH2 forced himself to stay awake to listen to what this person had to expound on his so–called “art”. Why? Unknown. But TH2 must confess that he is periodically mesmerized by the proponents of this movement, in their seriousness and insistence of the “truths” of this philosophical abomination that has stunted so many intellects in the last few decades.

Derrida and Deconstruction were de rigeur when I was at college.
Years later I surmised that the guy must have been a Kabbalist.Someone hired to scupper Gentile capacity for analysis and understanding.Derrida and his ilk were intent on problematizing the very concept of truth.It was a literary version of the end of history idea.Destabilizing and undermining the capacity of language to convey truth could be used to disarm critics of elite policy who were left to luxuriate in the slipperiness of the signifier or some such cant.
Christopher Norris wrote a good account(Intellectuals and the Gulf War,1993)of how intellectuals had been thoroughly neutralized during the Gulf War.Baudrillard making the fatuous remark that the war had not really taken place but been merely a “simulacrum” or “hyperreal” event was typical of the abnegation of their duty to speak truth to power.
Naturally the NWO imperialists got away scot-free as academics like Paul Virilio fell over themselves to get books out that marvelled at the US computer technology that had facilitated such a lightning quick victory in the desert.
Yea,Derrida,Foucault,Barthes et al-we know where they were coming from.Another psy-op that took in a hell of a lot of dumb goyim!
