They mention that John Kerry headed these investigatory hearings (the Kerry Report) into the Iran Contra affair. Though Kerry is ostensibly from the opposite side of the political spectrum (Democrat to Bush’s Republican) he, like Bush, is a member of the Yale’s Skull and Bones fraternity. They also connect various wars to the drug trade. John Kerry is descended from the ultra-wealthy, “Eastern Establishment” Forbes family, who made much of their vast fortune by running opium to China, which eventually lead to the Opium Wars, which would eventually lead to the fall of Imperial China. It makes you wonder if Kerry was some form of Bush controlled opposition. This certainly became a popular theory after he ran and lost his Presidential bid against George W. Bush back in 2004. And yet the Kerry Committee Report generated so much dirt, that seems a hard theory to swallow.
The opium issue they mention here, also makes you think of today’s war in Afghanistan. The C.I.A backed mujahideen, forced peasants to plant poppy’s and after their rise to power, the Taliban government also continued the opium trade but eventually banned production of the drug in 2000. A year later we have 9-11 and shortly after the Taliban is toppled in 2001 and now the drug lords have returned. Of course there have already been many excellent articles linked through this very website on this topic.

To bad Hinckel and De Antonio, like Chomsky, are at the very least lukewarm Marxists. That doesn’t invalidate their factual data about the corruption of the anti-communist right but it often means a somewhat one sided view of politics. It makes me wonder though, how many of the creeps that comprise the elite are actually N.W.O believing globalists and how many are just opportunistic criminals that don’t care about any ideology in particular (I know the advocates of globalism, often passes it off as trans-ideological but that’s largely bunk.)
