Documents like Agenda 21 were perhaps not, to my mind, to be read by the public. The extremely dry, soporific legal tone to the text seems designed to put the layman off within ten pages. It took me quite some time to finish it.
Whenever I talk to friends or family about so called “climate change” or “sustainable development” I mention Agenda 21. But trying to get across the nigh on totalitarian scope and aims the document has and its relationship to the Green Movement is in uphill struggle.
Anyone that can get though the document and maintain their mental focus will see what it proposes to do with everyone’s lives. And is already.

Subterfuge.
Imagine if Agenda 21, though, was instead the Earth Charter! They were going for that at the summit in ‘92; no country would sign the treaty, though. So, Agenda 21 was like a backdooor agreement with the proper ostensible language. Countries in of themselves needn’t sign any specific treaty: all that was needed was a cluster of a thousand or so NGOs with the proper “mindset” to bring it back home and implement it, incrementally, under the guise of cooperation with the international community.
