Astronaut Visits Grand Commander
The history of Masonry in the space age took another step forward on September 16, 1969, when Astronaut Brother Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr., 32°, visited the House of the Temple in Washington. Accompanied by his father, Edwin E. Aldrin, Sr., also a Scottish Rite Mason, Astronaut Aldrin paused in his busy schedule to greet Grand Commander Smith and to present to him the handmade Scottish Rite flag he had taken to the moon.
The flag is made of white silk, measures 22 x 30 centimeters, and is edged by a band of gold. It is embroidered with the words “The Supreme Council, 33°, Southern Jurisdiction, USA” and the motto “Deus Meumque Jus.” It is also decorated with the double-headed eagle, the crown of the Thirty-third Degree, the insignia of the Sovereign Grand Commander, and the insignia of a Master Mason.
On that historic lunar flight from July 16 to 24, 1969, the presence of this flag symbolized Masonry’s universal importance. When man reaches new worlds, Masonry will be there.

The white silk Scottish Rite banner seen here on this attachment carried by Aldrin was not made by him. It was made by Inge R. Baum, The Supreme Council - Mother Council of the World of the Thirty-Third and last Degree, Librarian and Historian at the Scottish Rite Temple at 1733 Sixteenth Street, N.W. Washington, D.C.
I spent a week in London in 1992 with John Hamill, Librarian and Curator of the Grand Lodge and Museum (and also Master of the Quator Coronati Lodge - top Illuminati member) who then referred me to Inge R. Baum on my trip to Washington D.C the same year. I spent a day with Inge, who showed me all of the Temple’s top secret crypts, including the one dedicated to the Apollo Moon Landing deception. She also gave me a lot of top secret info and documents about how U.S. presidents are controlled by the US York Rite and Scottish Rite Masonic Lodges, (which are in turn secretly controlled from London with the British Sovereign at the head) - who have been and are still members, who have secretly been Masons, and a bronze medalian celebrating the US Scottish Rite founder Albert Pike’s 150th anniversary of his death in 1991.
The white silk Scottish Rite Banner seen in these photos made by Inge R. Baum is kept (or at least was in 1992) in the crypt dedicated to the Apollo mission. In her spare time she was a keen embroiderer, and was extremely proud of the job she had done in making the banner! At the time I visited her in 1992 she was an elderly woman, had a huge office and was incredibly well informed - yet both myself and my friend who was with me at the time thought she was very mentally unstable, since she should never have revealed so much to us being effectively complete strangers and non-Masons. I’ve figured, the fact is most people are extremely apathetic, including even many Masons, and it is often so refreshing for curators like John Hamill and Inge Baum just to speak with someone who is “enthusiastic.” This is really why they often put themselves out so much for visitors no matter what the persuasion. Also coming from NZ helped too because we are small and are looked upon as being a relatively harmless lot. If I had a British or American accent I feel I would not have been so fortunate. Both of us “smelt a rat” after she showed us the Scottish Rite Temple Apollo Moon Landing Crypt in 1992, and at that time it seemed obvious to us that the whole mission was a giant hoax. Of course, since then, much more extensive information has come to light proving man has never gone to the moon. Because of her age, I would doubt if she would still working at the temple now, indeed if she is still alive.

Only an insensitive idiot would make a stupid statement about it looking hand made from an ordinary hankie. If you can’t make an intelligent comment, don’t leave any comment at all. My father was a 32nd degree Mason, and there was no weird stuff going on. I am so glad most people have been enlightened and no longer believe the moon landing was a hoax.

Albeit, probably being beat with a rod for being a impetuous and contemptuous person is a gentle kindness to what I would do to you. Guess for those that are transformed into beings of light, beating you with an iron rod will be like savoring the sweetest dish ever created.
