Nationalization: Code Word for Banker Takeover

It is now a mantra in the corporate media — the only way to fix the banking system is to “nationalize” the banks. “A touchy word has entered the public debate about the future of America’s economy. It’s a word that would shock the nation in normal times, but as even Republicans begin to whisper it, temporary ‘nationalization’ of troubled banks is increasingly seen as our last best hope for fixing our financial system,” declares Thomas Kelley, writing for Yahoo News.
Republicans like Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina defend and push bank “nationalization” because there is not a dime’s worth of difference between Republicans and Democrats — both are on the hook to the global elite and the bankers. Even supposed libertarians are lining up behind this scheme, including the Cato Institute. But then Cato’s directorship is rife with honchos from E-Trade Financial, FedEx, and other big corporations. Cato has hosted Greenspan and Bernanke at its functions.

“temporary”…
right….like the “temporary” witholding tax….
the rank and repugnant BIPARTISAN nationalization of our country is hurtling towards the cliff….or FEMA Halliburton “temporary” detention facilities.
We will get to enjoy the VIOLATION of the 14th Amendments prohibition on INDENTURED SERVITUDE…as the FedGov will OWN THE BANKS….ergo..YOU and your debt/credit cards/mortgage/BMW/IRA/401K…like the song Taxman by the Beatles….everything…and to think we are a “free market” country..and we “won” the Cold War vs the “bad” socialist Russia…..and we “won” the “good” war against the German socialist….and his Fascist ally Mussolini…who advocated government and business partnerships..and planning by the State…and managed trade…and allowance of rights to property and labor….
so whose IDEAS won these wars???????

I deeply hope, for the sake of our precious planet and the survival of the human race, that there are enough people intelligent enough, to understand that nationalization of investment banking credit is absolutely necessary as a permanent fixture in the legal landscape, for all times to come. It should be prosecuted in peace time with dilligence, to hang on to the peace. It should be done with care to remove the corrupt from both politics and banking and high places in industry after a time foolish enough to have allowed for profit investment to rage in the economy.
Nationalization of banking credit has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with having a free market or not. Actually, to have a free market, you can not allow free banking, because the free banking will destroy the free market for its own gain. Investment credit is not a business. The USA people will destroy themselves because they can not bring themselves beyond understanding devious soundbites, soundbites that have deceived the world for more then a century having changed absolutely nothing from day 1. The demons of capitalism are whispering into the ears of the people the same primitive lies since ever they took over from the feudal lords.
Free markets depend on democratically controlled investment credit. After a period of having allowed free trade in business credit, your society is likely to be in such poor shape, that it needs a new currency and a completely new leadership ! That is how damaging it is. Actually, you might need a new currency several times to clear out the damage again. Foolish peoples, where was your head.

But … of course it is banking take-over, the exact opposite of anyhing “socialist.” They want to socialize the losses, privatize the gains, and leave the corrupt (that’s them) in power. Then continue on with Capitalist madness, until the world destroyes itself or they die, whichever comes first.
