I am writing this in the last days of 2008 as I watch with dismay as vast numbers of people across the world, including many who should know better, have been duped by the mind-game called Operation Obama.
Even people with some understanding of the conspiracy have said things like: ‘Well, at least he’s not Bush’ and ‘Well, at least it’s great to see such a new spirit of hope’. No, he’s not Bush - he’s potentially far more dangerous; and what is the use of a spirit of ‘hope’ if it’s based on a lie? In fact, what use is ‘hope’ at all?
Obama’s wife, Michelle, who I wouldn’t trust to tell me the date in a calendar factory, said that ‘everything begins and ends with hope’. Utter nonsense. Hope is a meaningless emotion because its fruits are always in the future and, by definition, never in the NOW.
Hope is like riding a carousel horse; no matter how fast you go you never get closer to the one in front. The idea, however, is to persuade you to stay on the horse, despite the evitable disappointment, in the ‘hope’ that things will change. But they don’t because the very system is designed to prevent it.

You know, the problem with so much of the “conspiracy” stuff is not that I wouldn`t believe it - short of the reptillian shape-shifting - the problem is that it does not *do* anything about it. There is no action plan, no political platform, no mass organizations, no demands to be met … Sure, the truth must come out and is a goal in itself. Absolutely, and that is action too. Still, merely noting the corruption and organized crime, eventually we ought to spring into action and take over the world.

Start at the local level and work your way up. Grass-roots politics is the only viable means,short of good ole revolution. But the State apparatus is so powerful now that once you start using the word “revolution” in any context except as idealism …well, you run the risk of getting heat - even charged if it can be proved that you incited others to violence.
In short: due to the knowledge of how the world really works there should be as many as one hundred Ron Pauls or Jesse Venturas out there. Politics is boring, though; and most people just struggle along, day to day, trying to meek out a living.
Pretty soon, it may come to conspiracies by the citizenry, akin to those implemented by the Bavarian Illuminati or the Jacobin Club. Secrecy - in these times - is even more paramount than in the 18th Century. Weishaupt et al didn’t have to contend with the all-seeing power of the Big Brother apparatus; if he did, he probably would have given up sooner than started.

Terry Melanson: the problem with all that “grass roots” stuff is that once it *finally, finally, finally, finally* is getting anywhere with having some numbers behind it, it has been so long in the running that by that date the leadership is likely already 50% corrupt carreer puppets. There is something that such movements can achieve, as long as the goal is simple/easy. Example: “general voting right,” easy enough, you can organize and get it through. Example: equal cases to be judged equally, also easy enough. But when it comes to much of the current problems, from the economic model, to war, to empire, corruption, environmental destruction, income inequality, the quality of the voting process …
Check my site if you like though, for very far worked out schemes to get fundamental changes done in all areas, while at the same time implementing a strategy to fight internal corruption. I propose to fight internal corruption using 2 mechanisms:
1. The minority party. We can organize not in one mass party (which the marxists did), but in many tens of minority parties, all having a maximum number of members and then the membership closes. If we are lucky that results in some good organizations. Then these minority groups can compete for people, and hopefully the least corrupt win, the corrupt ones fall.
2. To constantly switch out the leadership for other people, using a bottom-up voting system. N number elect 1 representative, and proceed to switch that one out for another, especially in case of corruption but also as a matter of routine. This should make it impossible for a corrupt leadership class to install itself.
I think it could work, I don`t think it has ever been tried before (meaning it is worth a shot), and I think it is a sound defense principle. The internal democracy should be augmented with binding internal referendum power. Goal is to have a leadership/program in each group that accurately reflect those people, that is all one could ask for, all one should ask for even.
Then as the back-bone “change program” I`m proposing my Constitution Proposal, which is worked out to such an extend that even corrupt leaders will have a very hard time messing with the back-bone program by inventing “improvements” or making up fantasy policies having nothing to do with the will expressed in the organization.

Incredibly detailed plan (re: your site). Have you run it past Libertarians? I mean they do see themselves as the be-all-end-all of all things “Constitutional.” I, myself, am not qualified enough to even comment on it. For one, I am not a US Constitutional scholar; and two - the most important - I’m Canadian.

I suppose America CAN have two Hitlers in a row but historically that doesn’t usually happen. So I propose we deal with the first Hitler first (GW.Bush, Cheney and company) try them for war crimes subversion of the Constitution and the whole nine yards and then we’ll worry about Hitler number two later when he has done enough crimes.
Doesn’t that sound fair?

Terry: thanks. Yes it is *incredibly* detailed. To be honest I don`t think there has been another plan as detailed as this. It has to be, because the minute the enemy gets wind of this getting support, there first decision is whether to assasinate me (I assume). Hence I had to solve all critical problems ahead of time, not just the laws. It doesn`t matter if you`re Canadian, might even be an asset considdering the state of USA. I hope Canada will also adopt my systems (in general). Nobody is listening to what I`m proposing or even why, much less willing to offer any kind of criticism on it. I think I know why: it is too true, can`t argue with it, so they choose to ignore it. I am by the way from Holland. You don`t need to be a constitutional scholar to comment on it.
The basic plan is very simple, though:
- trade economy = good, because trade = free exchange of products of effort out of free will.
From that realization you get the following 4 points:
- Democratic Authorities. To keep the state in line with folk will.
- Democratic Ventures (companies). This means company ownership must revert to employees as an open democracy when starter leaves, which creates an open management-labor-market, and prevents exploitation of workerslaves.
- Democratic Investments (money). This means money creation/destruction is completely under political control - the people - and business investment credit is socialized/nationalized. It has to be, becuase else “for profit finance is most profitable where workerslaves are abused most.” (that is a rule of economics).
- Democratic demarcations (borders). This means the distribution (rather then nationalization) of economic valuable resources (such as land, but also logging rights, fishing rights, etc). Everyone its share, with a right to hire/lend out, or to leave it unused (nature/public land is not included in the distribution). This is necessary to level the playing field between all market actors (people), to remove power concentrations from resource ownership. On another level this entails the right to start up new sovereign countries within the old, but you have to go through a serious referendum protocol for that, which lasts (IIRC) 10 years, and then 10 more years you can grow your sovereign area using another referendum protocol.
These 4 points: DA, DV, DI, DD: Democratic Authorities, Ventures, Investments, Demarcations, D.A.V.I.D. is the basic model. From there it is a matter of painting in a consititution system that conforms to it. You can, and probably should, if all is well, try to reform your current system/Constitution, to reflect at least the DAVID points. If you manage, you are in business, you don`t need to install by complete Constitution Proposal, though you could use it for inspiration maybe.
Considdering that the whole system (see also “petition” on my site for short 10 points), considdering the whole system is merely 4 basic points DAVID, it can all be small and debatable.

Please. If people weren’t so “desperate” for something “supernatural” to happen in their lives, they wouldn’t need to feed the onset of conspiracy theorists. Plain & simple. Proof is, photos are grainy, stories always have a twist (i.e., well I had to write it that way as not to be suspect, etc.), theres always an excuse and absolutely NO PROOF of anything. There is no conspiracy in this world that is “so secretive” as not to have been surfaced without absolute proof. Also, if half of the people who claim to have absolute proof really did, then I’m sure they would be targeted and dead to date. It’s pure crapola. There’s no big dark secret anywhere. Washington is run by politians, who are corrupt and do what they need to do by those who lobby and line their pockets the biggest. That’s how it’s run. Fear feeds the imagination. Without it, conspiracy theorists go for broke. Keep feeding them and they will live through anything like cockroaches through a nuclear bombardment. Live Long and Prosper…just get a “real” life.

I browsed through one of David Ickes books today at borders out of sheer curiosity. I had to hide it within a larger, more respectable book so that no one would see the kookoo crap I was reading. But I couldn’t avoid embarrassment, people just wondered instead what I found so hilarious about an introduction to microbiology.

Think for a minute about what that means, “to be corrupt.”
It means secret money shifts hands under the table, in
exchange for priviliges. It means data shifts out about
Government contracts so that private parties position themselves
better to get them. It means bribery of officials who sell their
vote.
By definition these are “conspiracies.” Often they do not come
to light at all, look at all the court-cases and so on, it is
quite difficult for a fully funded police investigation to get
to the bottom of even simple murders.
That doesn’t mean *everything* has to be a conspiracy, however
“Washington is run by corruption,” is IMHO already the definition
of what kind of “conspiracy” is going on.
This Icke dude, I think he is *way* out of line, this is
good for the “corrupt washington politicians,” because it makes
other more realistic conspiracy theories such as “Washington is
run by corrupt politicians, or has many corrupt/greedy/stupid
politicians who shouldn’t be there” look just as stupid.
Basic corruption = conspiracy, to point to it is “conspiracy theory.”
Most criminal court cases involving more then 1 criminal are
attempts to prove a “conspiracy theory,” “conspiring to do a crime”
is in the law as being a crime (probably). Criminal gangs are by
definition conspirators. In the case of the Mafia they managed to
have a multi-generational conspiracy going on. Sometimes these
conspiracies can get out of hand, particularly when the public
refuses to acknowledge the possibility. On the other hand people
are innocent until proven guilty.
