The Mystical Kabbalistic-Rosicrucian-Gnostic Order of the Mustard Seed

Thursday, January 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

I found a curious item the other day. At DeceptionBytes, Mishel wrote a post titled ‘The Hidden Agenda of The Order of the Mustard Seed.’ The first two paragraphs of which, are:

Peter Grieg of the 24-7 Prayer Movement, an international, ecumenical movement laced with Gnostic, New-Age, and Contemplative spirituality, is reviving the 17th century Order of the Mustard Seed and encouraging members to take a lifelong vow of commitment. This commitment to the vows of the Order, are to be symbolized with a ring or tattoo. The Order of the Mustard seed, which was originally a secret order started by Count Nikolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf, is a long dormant Masonic Order. Greig says he was inspired to resurrect the order by the 18th century Moravian renewal and the life of Count Zinzendorf.  In fact, many of those in the Apostolic and Prophetic Movement, who embrace a world-view by which they believe themselves God’s Champions, bringing Heaven to Earth, have a rabid fascination with Zinzendorf and the Moravians.

Why, are so many of the ministries that seek to “take” the world for Christ, enraptured by the Moravians and why do the Moravians wield this kind of influence over this “New Breed” of Christian “emerging” in today’s post modern church era? In order to understand the horrific significance of the resurrection of this Order and the overall draw of Zinzendorf’s Moravians, it is first imperative to understand the history of this movement and how it fits together with today’s stringent social and political agenda.

The full name of the secret society was the Order of the Grain of Mustard Seed. I’m reading a book right now by Marsha Schuchard called Why Mrs Blake Cried: William Blake and the Erotic Imagination - a book-length expansion of her earlier scholarly article. There’s some rare info on Zinzendorf, Swedenborg, William Blake and the Masonic Sabbatean-Kabbalistic (antinomian) milieu of the 18th Century. The Mustard Seed secret society is mentioned a few times, too.

Turkey: ‘Deep State’ conspiracy

Thursday, January 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

The Ergenekon investigation deepens distrust between the Turkish military and the country’s police force, as the ruling AKP suspects the ‘Deep State’ of trying to undermine it in the name of secularism, Gareth Jenkins writes for ISN Security Watch.

By Gareth Jenkins in Istanbul for ISN Security Watch

Turkish anti-terrorism police on 22 January detained 37 people in simultaneous pre-dawn raids in 16 of the country’s 81 provinces as part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged covert organization known as “Ergenekon.”

The operation was the 11th in a series of coordinated early morning raids over the last 18 months in which over 200 people have been detained and more than 120 formally arrested on charges of belonging to the Ergenekon “armed terrorist organization.”

Those currently being held on charges of belonging to Ergenekon include retired high-ranking members of the Turkish military, academics, writers, journalists, businessmen, lawyers and medical personnel. Although a few have a background in covert activities, the only common denominator linking all of them is that they are outspoken opponents of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP).

Man Kills His Wife and Five Children Then Faxes Letter to TV Station that Concludes with Masonic Code Phrase; Kills Himself Minutes Before Police Arrive

Thursday, January 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Cryptogon

The whole case is strange, but here are the factors that I’ve noted so far:

The 911 Call

The station called police after receiving the fax, and a police dispatch center also received a call from a man who stated, “I just returned home and my whole family’s been shot.”

Masonic Reference in Note

“Oh Lord my God is there no hope for a widow’s son!”

Obama’s Inaugural Speech Augurs Badly for Change

Thursday, January 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Andrew Hughes - January 25, 2009

Listening to Obama’s inaugural speech impressed solely by its obvious continuity of the process that Bush and Cheney helped along it’s way. The Project for a New American Century was in full swing as Obama parroted the aims and dreams of Zbigniew Brezinski, his foreign policy adviser and mentor. One pawn was replaced by another on “The Grand Chessboard” and, after the slight inconvenience of a Presidential election, the battle for Eurasia and the quest for control of America continues.

There are those who will be thinking right now.. But he’s only been in office since last Tuesday - give the guy a chance. Read the transcript of the inaugural speech one more time and, without the flags, the applause and the carefully crafted delivery, see what was really said. Look at the actions of his administration since taking office. Look at his voting record as a senator. Judge the man on his actions and stated goals not on the vacuous pandering to a nation that has been brought to its knees by the policies and decisions engineered by the same people who now occupy his administration. This being a time for hope does not mean it’s a time for blind hope. Most importantly, remember that he has sworn to “preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States”. Even if he had to do it twice.

How Israel Helped to Spawn Hamas

Thursday, January 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Moshav Tekuma, Israel

Surveying the wreckage of a neighbor’s bungalow hit by a Palestinian rocket, retired Israeli official Avner Cohen traces the missile’s trajectory back to an “enormous, stupid mistake” made 30 years ago.

“Hamas, to my great regret, is Israel’s creation,” says Mr. Cohen, a Tunisian-born Jew who worked in Gaza for more than two decades. Responsible for religious affairs in the region until 1994, Mr. Cohen watched the Islamist movement take shape, muscle aside secular Palestinian rivals and then morph into what is today Hamas, a militant group that is sworn to Israel’s destruction.

Israeli settlers stone human rights workers in Hebron

Thursday, January 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Description:

On June 14, 2006 at approximately 12:30 PM, two Human Rights Workers (HRWs) on Shuhada Street noticed a group of between 8 and 10 settlers boys between the ages of 9 and 12 carrying plastic bags filled with water. The boys were coming out of the Beit Hadassah settlement and were headed up the stone stairs towards Qurtoba, a Palestinian school building. The HRWs followed the boys to the stairs and were attacked with the bags of water. The soldier on duty at the Israeli military post spoke to the HRWs in Hebrew and made gestures for them to leave. The HRWs told the soldiers they only spoke English and asked him to get the kids to stop attacking them. The soldier did nothing and the children began throwing rocks at the HRWs.

Why is Marijuana Illegal?

Thursday, January 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

A brief history of the criminalization of cannabis

Many people assume that marijuana was made illegal through some kind of process involving scientific, medical, and government hearings; that it was to protect the citizens from what was determined to be a dangerous drug.

The actual story shows a much different picture. Those who voted on the legal fate of this plant never had the facts, but were dependent on information supplied by those who had a specific agenda to deceive lawmakers. You’ll see below that the very first federal vote to prohibit marijuana was based entirely on a documented lie on the floor of the Senate.

You’ll also see that the history of marijuana’s criminalization is filled with:

  • Racism
  • Fear
  • Protection of Corporate Profits
  • Yellow Journalism
  • Ignorant, Incompetent, and/or Corrupt Legislators
  • Personal Career Advancement and Greed

These are the actual reasons marijuana is illegal.

The Rockefeller Plan, Part 4

Thursday, January 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

From Dennis Cuddy’s latest:

The final element of the Rockefeller Plan is the political/New World Order component, which will be covered in this Part of the series and in Part 5. I’ve written many times before about the famous author H.G. Wells and how he knew in advance when World War II would begin, about Churchill’s “secret circle,” and that the final “World-State” would arise from a conference in Basra, Iraq, among other things. In 1939, Wells authored The New World Order regarding the coming world government. Relevant to the Rockefellers, I have two letters from Wells to President Franklin Roosevelt. In the April 14, 1934 letter, Wells tells FDR “any letters sent to me at the Chase National Bank, Park Avenue, New York will reach me.” And in the February 27, 1935 letter, Wells tells FDR that he’s coming to New York, and he says “my address will be c/o the Chase National Bank, Park Avenue, N.Y.C.” Chase National Bank was the Rockefeller’s bank, and one may therefore assume Wells was close to them.

Is Peace Out Of Reach?

Has peace in the Middle East become nothing more than a pipe dream? As Bob Simon reports, a growing number of Israelis and Palestinians feel that a two-state solution is no longer possible.

Aristocratic occultist may have been model for Shakespeare’s Prospero

Thursday, January 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Stewart was implicated in plots to kill the King and was rumoured to be heavily involved in witchcraft and sorcery. In 1590 he was said to have dressed as the devil during a witches’ sabbath, and cast a spell, summoning up a storm - just as Prospero did - in an attempt to wreck the king’s ship. He failed, and James survived to ascend the English throne as well 13 years later.

Exiled earl may have been the model for Prospero

The Times | Jan 24, 2009

Prospero, the exiled Duke of Milan, has always been one of Shakespeare’s most mysterious creations. Part mystic, part wizard, he weaves spells and conjures up storms. At the end of The Tempest he utters one of the great speeches in all the Shakespearian canon - “Now my charms are all o’erthrown; and what strength I have’s mine own.”

No one has ever been able to say with certainty what, or who, inspired the creation of Prospero, though many of Shakespeare’s characters were based on real people and events. Now, however, an amateur historian, rifling through the papers of an eccentric 16th-century Scottish Earl, has uncovered the life of a man he says may have given Shakespeare the idea for the character.

Obama’s Neocon: The Curious Case of Richard Holbrooke

Thursday, January 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Joshua Frank - January 24, 2009

In wee morning hours on Friday, January 23, a U.S. spy plane killed at least 15 in Pakistan near the Afghanistan border. It was Barack Obama’s first blood and the U.S.’s first violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty under the new administration. The attack was an early sign that the newly minted president may not be overhauling the War on Terror this week, or even next.

As the U.S. government fired upon alleged terrorists in the rugged outback of Pakistan, Obama was back in Washington appointing Richard Holbrooke as a special U.S. representative to Pakistan and Afghanistan. Unfortunately, like the remote control bombing that claimed human life, Obama’s vision for the region, in the embodiment of Holbrooke, may not be a drastic departure from the failed Bush doctrine. Or a departure at all.
