In the middle of all the hoo-hah over Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand’s childish phone calls on a late-night radio show, you may have missed a far more scandalous utterance that was made on BBC radio.

On 5 November, the upmarket Nightwaves on BBC Radio 3 aired a discussion about overpopulation between Dr Susan Blackmore (a neuroscientist) and Professor John Gray (of the London School of Economics).

Dr Blackmore said the “fundamental problem” facing the planet today is that “there are too many people”. Professor Gray agreed. Then Dr Blackmore declared: “For the planet’s sake, I hope we have bird flu or some other thing that will reduce the population, because otherwise we’re doomed.”

So, it’s official: at the Beeb it is unacceptable to make crude jokes about having sex with someone’s granddaughter, but it is perfectly OK to wish death upon large swathes of mankind.

But the “Raiders”, First Brigade Combat Team of the Army’s Third Division, deployed on home soil as of October 1, have been specially trained to use the first-ever modular, nonlethal package of weapons the Army has fielded. Under command of US Army North, the Army’s component of NorthCom—the Pentagon’s northern command, which was created after 9/11 to defend the US “homeland”, the Raiders, in gross violation of posse comitatus, will aid local, state and federal authorities in crowd control.

So the sheep might bleat and stir, but serious revolt—any meaningful kinds of protest granted as rights under the Constitution—are likely to face the new package of nonlethal weapons. 1st BCT’s Raiders are 4000 combat-seasoned troops fresh from three tours of duty in Iraq; an elite killing force deployed at home to subdue the unruly and dangerous without killing them. Unruly and dangerous, in “elite-speak” means anyone who cares enough about the scuttling of America to do something that might actually help…people who understand that in the horrors of the last eight years there have been no accidents. America is where it is by design.

Prince Charles, who has just turned 60, wants to break with tradition and keep speaking out on key issues when he becomes king, biographer Jonathan Dimbleby said in The Sunday Times.

Charles, the heir to the throne, is outspoken on several matters such as climate change and architecture. However, sovereigns traditionally keep their opinions out of the public domain.

“There are now discreet moves afoot to redefine the future role of the sovereign so that it would allow King Charles III to speak out on matters of national or international importance in ways that at the moment would be unthinkable,” said broadcaster Dimbleby, a close friend of the prince who wrote an authorised biography of Charles.

Since inheriting the throne in 1952, Charles’s mother Queen Elizabeth II has adhered to the tradition that the monarch’s views are only heard by prime ministers and the privy council.

“To breach this convention, however cautiously, would represent a seismic shift in the role of the sovereign,” Dimbleby wrote.

WASHINGTON — The Center for a New American Security, a small think tank here with generally middle-of-the-road policy views, is rapidly emerging as a top farm team for the incoming Obama administration.

When President-elect Barack Obama released a roster of his transition advisers last week, many of the national-security appointments came from the ranks of the center, which was founded by a pair of former Clinton administration officials in February 2007.

The think tank’s central role in the transition effort suggests that its positions — which include rejecting a fixed timeline for a withdrawal from Iraq — will get a warm reception within the new administration.

PARIS (AFP) — Garters, Thistles, Golden Fleeces and even the Thai Order of the White Elephant: priceless orders amassed by the world’s probably biggest such private collector come out of the closet at a Paris museum this week.

Amassed over decades by Italian financier Antonio Benedetto Spada, now in his 70s, some 600 rare bejewelled insignia once strung around the necks of royalty, knights, and other VIPs, go on show at Paris’ prestigious Legion of Honour museum from November 19.

Spada, who describes himself as “a born collector”, began hoarding old books and prints at only 16 before progressing to silverware, antique clocks, stamps and art, until he stumbled and stopped on his first handcrafted order, or decoration, at the Paris flea-market in the 1960s.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown wrote a noted article on October 13 announcing the need and plans for a global financial authority. Italy’s finance minister, among others, echoed the call, saying it was “not the end of the world, but the end of a world.” The first of what will likely be a series of meetings took place today in Washington, D.C. Invited were the G-20 countries, which include 19 nations and the European Union.

World leaders gathering at the United Nations this week for a special session of the General Assembly to advance interfaith dialogue should have no illusions that their efforts will miraculously promote mutual respect between religious communities or end abuses of religious freedom.

Saudi King Abdullah, who initiated this week’s special session, is quietly enlisting the leaders’ support for a global law to punish blasphemy – a campaign championed by the 56-member Organization of Islamic Conference that puts the rights of religions ahead of individual liberties.

If the campaign succeeds, states that presume to speak in the name of religion will be able to crush religious freedom not only in their own country, but abroad.

The UN session is designed to endorse a meeting of religious leaders in Spain last summer that was the brainchild of King Abdullah and organized by the Muslim World League. That meeting resulted in a final statement counseling promotion of “respect for religions, their places of worship, and their symbols … therefore preventing the derision of what people consider sacred.”

The lofty-sounding principle is, in fact, a cleverly coded way of granting religious leaders the right to criminalize speech and activities that they deem to insult religion. Instead of promoting harmony, however, this effort will exacerbate divisions and intensify religious repression.

Everyone who watches films knows about Hollywood’s fascination with spies. From Hitchcock’s postwar espionage thrillers, through cold war tales such as Torn Curtain, into the paranoid 1970s when the CIA came to be seen as an agency out of control in films such as Three Days of the Condor, and right to the present, with the Bourne trilogy and Ridley Scott’s forthcoming Body of Lies, film-makers have always wanted to get in bed with spies. What’s less widely known is how much the spies have wanted to get in bed with the film-makers. In fact, the story of the CIA’s involvement in Hollywood is a tale of deception and subversion that would seem improbable if it were put on screen.

The model for this is the defence department’s “open” but barely publicised relationship with Hollywood. The Pentagon, for decades, has offered film-makers advice, manpower and even hardware - including aircraft carriers and state-of-the-art helicopters. All it asks for in exchange is that the US armed forces are made to look good. So in a previous Scott film, Black Hawk Down, a character based on a real-life soldier who had also been a child rapist lost that part of his backstory when he came to the screen.

To my substantial delight, a movement is already coalescing to impeach President-Elect Obama.

My reaction isn’t dictated merely by the conclusion that Obama is uniquely unsuitable to the office he will acquire next January.

I’m of the view that all presidents should be simultaneously inaugurated and impeached, and that there should be a streamlined procedure to expedite their conviction and removal from office upon each president’s first documented violation of his constitutional oath.

This would be more than merely a convenient time-saving measure; it is entirely justified in light of the alacrity with which presidents become enemies of the Constitution. Nearly all newly installed presidents reveal themselves to be perjurers before the echo of their insipid inaugural addresses dies down. Indeed, in our degenerate socialist democracy it’s impossible for a politician to become a “serious” presidential contender without promising, in extravagant detail, the crime wave he intends to preside over once enthroned.

The Secret Service is tasked with protecting the President of the United States from assailants; and given that President-elect Obama has already been the target of assassination plots they may have their work cut out after January. But they have more than earpiece radios and armored limos to help them; the Secret Service can call on the very latest technology. Documents from a recent court case indicate that they have advanced directed-energy devices which are highly classified.

You may remember Donald Friedman, who claims that government agencies are misusing non-lethal directed-energy weapons. It’s easy to dismiss him as a crank. But his obsessive digging has turned up valuable information. For instance, one of his Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests unearthed a 1998 U.S. Army program looking at a microwave device to beam sound directly into the target’s skull which the rest of us had missed. (The same technology underlies the Medusa non-lethal weapon.)

Now he’s found something else. Friedman’s current court case involves attempts to extract information about any directed-energy weapons such as lasers and microwaves used by the Secret Service. Do they really have anything of the kind? A “Motion for an Enlargement of Time” (in other words, a request for a few more weeks) by the Secret Service’s attorney indicates that they have something, and it’s pretty secret:

The Attacks on Barack Obama by the mainstream right-wing pundits have been nonsensical. They have called him a communist, which is funny because he was so heavily backed by the fascist corporate establishment and elite banking cartel, and they have called him a Muslim terrorist, which is very strange, considering his undying support for the Zionist state of Israel. In the following article, I will demonstrate that if supporters of the Bush agenda were intellectually honest, they would be ecstatic about the recent election of Barack Hussein Obama as president of the United States, as he is nothing less than the Black George Bush.

It appears that many supporters of Obama are almost totally unfamiliar with his own stated policies and political associations, and even less familiar with the nature of the men he has begun to surround himself with. I will go into some detail about these agendas and associations. It also seems that many people are unclear about what I mean when I say “politics are fake”. Rather than go into laborious detail about the nature of the mechanism that runs the world system, a full examination of which would fill endless volumes, I will attempt to demonstrate the superficial nature of the political theatre by analyzing the goals of the “left” in contrast with that of the “right”, and show that they are in fact simply two clawed hands of the same frothing beast, pushing us toward the same seemingly inevitable ends.

The purpose of this article is not to show that “Obama has bad policies”, but rather to show that he is a puppet, a highly paid actor, representing not the interests of the people, or even his own interests, but the interests of the globalist elite who are hell-bent on establishing a world government.
