I was hoping to read the original writings before Perfectibilists and other related books, but seems like they will not be available in English soon enough. Reading the source material first, helps me to keep a balance opinion.

Its frustrating not being able to read Weishaupt’s work as I do with Pike, HPB, Hall and all the other “luciferians” on the conspiracy black list.

Radical Masons and Illuminati against the hegemony of the Church, the Jesuits, and obscurantist Princes. Central Europe at that time was a theocracy in every respect, whether the ruler happened to be Catholic or Protestant. The new public sphere weren’t falling for it anymore, and voiced its dissent as much as possible. It’s the trajectory of the Enlightenment itself; and the Illuminati conspiracy and the French Revolution are its fruits.

They may have talked about emancipating the people, but internally they were all about replacing the existing Order with themselves - becoming a technocratic ruling elite over the entire planet. What else would you expect from a bunch of conspirators calling themselves the “Enlightened Ones.”

I’m guessing here, but is it safe to say that you haven’t read my book on the Illuminati?

So far I can’t find any definitive proof that the B. Illuminati conspiracy was against the people. On the contrary, seems that their efforts were aimed to erode the establishment (princes/clergy) and create some sort of utopia to replace it.

From Lord Acton’s “Cambridge Modern History - The French Revolution” we learn:

“…the Masonic movement had challenged traditional ideas. The suppression of the Illuminati in Bavaria in 1784 had dispersed them all over the Empire; and Weishaupt and Knigge taught that kings were no longer needed and that nobility was but the tool of despotism. ” pag. 772

“A universal conspiracy was on the point of breaking out, planned by the Illuminati; and to combat it the Order of Jesuits should be revived.” pag. 776

This opened my mind to the possibility that the whole Masonic/Illuminati conspiracy story could very well be Barruel’s successors perpetuating the war against the Enlightenment.

The doctrines and principles of the Illuminati were, for the most part, the doctrines and principles of the Enlightenment itself.

Your Illuminati research would have told you who it was who said this. Are we to assume that Washington was hallucinating when he said this in 1798?

Secret societies will always exist. One should investigate them rigorously to uncover as much as we can. I’ve done it with the real Illuminati, and continue to do so. Others should likewise specialize in other areas.

Whether we call the conspiracy “Illuminati” or B’nai B’rith or by any other name matters less than the need for us to finally acknowledge the existence of the very real subversive threat from within secret societies that seek to enslave us. These societies modelled themselves on successful forebears like the Jesuits and Illuminati.

If the Illuminati really was wound up in the eighteenth century it doesn’t mean that the threat from like-minded clandestine subversives has gone away does it?

On the contrary it seems all the more likely that our ongoing state of denial means that by now these societies are on the point of achieving their final shared objectives.

This site may deal with conspiracies - of which the historical Illuminati surely was - however, I do not exaggerate the history of the organization. The Bavarian Illuminati had nothing to do with the Hellfire club, Franklin or Rothschild, nor had they ever settled in either England or America. Moreover, they were defunct by 1800.

Like it or not, the real evidence bears this out.

Benjamin Franklin visited the Hellfire Club caves in West Wycombe here in England. The club was a fringe masonic group run by Sir Francis Dashwood the Postmaster General. Subsequent Dashwoods went on to hold high political office.

If the Hellfire Club was Illuminati-inspired then Franklin would surely have been aware of it.

Then there’s the recurring plot to saddle colonial America with a central bank. This was sponsored by the Rothschilds and their agents like Alexander Hamilton and culminated in the 1913 Jekyll Island plot and the establishment of the Federal Reserve.

Had the Illuminati nothing to do with any of these machinations?
