I'm not sure if you have my book, but I utilized Le Forestier quite a bit. Very quickly in my research it became apparent that Le Forestier was the standard in the field (in any language) still to this day. Richard van Dulmen's German book is more current but I doubt it comes close to the scope of Le Forestier's 700+ page masterpiece.

The copyright may have been bought/extended to a company that has been selling it since Le Forestier's work on the templars was finished posthumously by his protege Antoine Faivre. Arche Milan publishes both works. I don't know the details, but I'm assuming it's the case - if it's even possible considering it should be in public domain since it was first published in 1915.

A translation was started by someone in the OTO or Golden Dawn a while back, but I can't remember his name. That was years ago, so maybe they realized that the Arche company has the rights (for any language, perhaps).

I take it, there is no English translation of Le Forrestier? There has got to be a French => English translator that would feel up to the task. Sadly, I only speak English and Kraut.
