The catholic church is against freemason.if u insist on becoming a freemason,please just leave the catholic Church!!! I have been a practicing mason for 36 years and all of a sudden I’m to be excommunicated if I do not abject to all degrees taken. I have not seen or been involved in any teachings against the Caholic Church. I have never heard anything discussed agains the Catholic Church. I approached my priest in 1976 and inquired about joining the masons beore joining. I did not get any derogatory information so I joined. Where did I go wrong??

Why do you guys assume that about the religion? God had said to not talk bad about other religions. What you guys are saying is bad. God doesn’t like that. Plus many miracles has happened in my religion. If some stuff had happened in the past that was bad, it’s not happening again and etc.

Plus some stuff had happened thru out the years and was added, okay? It’s fine that you stick to your OWN opinion about a religion you don’t really follow, but it’s bad enough when you start talking bad about other people’s religion.

Freemasonry practically equals Protestantism, and Universalism in particular. The Catholic hierarchy, however, has been officially opposed to Freemasonry since the 1730s when its spread throughout Europe became apparent. You’re thinking’s a bit off by expecting to nonchalantly just join Freemasonry and still consider yourself Catholic and “teacher of the faith.” The Masons will take you, sure, but you can and will certainly be ostracised by Catholicism-proper.

I am truly confused. I am catholic and have been a teacher of the faith for many years, having grown up in both the pre and post Vatican II era. For years, I have been approached and while not solicited, have been enthusiastically welcomed to petition Freemasonry for membership on mumerous occasions. For the life of me (no pun intended), I cannot understand why I have been approached so many times and have even been told that I, “would be good at it” by a high ranking member of a Masonic rite. When I research Freemasonry, I find many many teachings and opinions that strongly oppose it; however, most of this opposition comes from protestant sources, which are anti-catholic, thus, by my observation, sources which are in opposition to traditional Christianity. I am of a Jewish blood line that produced many generations of faithful catholics. Wishing to be a better person and to pursue elevation as an individual, I have petitioned the local lodge and await a response. My plan is to enter with eyes spiritually open and hope for the guidance of God as I either walk through this valley or climb this mountain. I seek and welcome guidance.

The Novus Ordo Missae was concocted during Vatican II, during the 1960s and at least 3 non-Catholic authorities were responsible for assisting at its Demoniacal birth. Yes, I and my late Dad hated the New Mass, while my Mum and paternal Nan, loved it. I have raised my daughter (now 24), with Traditional Values and we assist when we can, due to ill health, as we have to travel up to 50 miles but we’d rather do that, when possible, than go 10 minutes into town, to the Catholic Cathedral, where I grew up and was married from. It’s only curiosity, that would get me to peek in there, to see what further damage has been done. The main altar was brought forward from the sanctuary wall to be replaced by the Bishops Throne, before replaced by a stone slab across two stone pillars, reminiscent of Stonehenge, Wiltshire, in the early 1960s, then ripped the beautiful gilded angel altar rails out in 1982/3, by the 1990s, the Sanctuary Lamp had disappeared and don’t get me started on Altar Servers, male and female.
The Novus Ordo will not bring anyone to God, more like the other fella, Satan, who never does a better job of anything, than when he convinces people, that he doesn’t exist.

I have been brought up in a catholic background but havent been a real believer of all that stuff
they do or say,but i believe strongly that there is God who liveth and my life sustainer, soul
provider and whom i worship.since i reached 16 i hated going to church andall i do is stay home
pray in the morning and evening.The point is i have always admired being a freemason but
my friends tell me inorder to join i must sacrifice one of my family member,is it true?and do theiy really need that human sacrifice?coz i believe human sacrifice is no good for God.
please help.

I am a catholic and a Freemason i smile, sometimes shake my head, and most often am shocked and annoyed at anti- mason dialogue I have been a freemason for 30years and i have never heard any ideas of concern about the craft destroying the catholic church or the Vatican and any other faith I’ve sat as Master of the Lodge, freemasonry is fraternal if the tenets of freemasonrywere observed we would be sleeping with our doors open . In my experience i have seen Jew embrace Muslim, and recently a Brother Turk present a gift to a Greek at an installation, Masons all.Like many large organizations we have some undesirables and eventually they are cast out. The conspirators love to pick on the Masons due to our so called secrets.When i pray i pray to Jesus Christ, and Mary. When the time comes that i meet our savior Jesus and the Book Of Life is opened and all that is there is I was Freemason i will expect The Lord to say well done good and faithful servant enter thou into the joy of thou Lord.

Novus Order missie is a substitute mass for the Mass of all time ie Traditional Tridentine Latin Mass,why ? because it doesn’t restrain Satan the way the T.T.L.Mass does.!!

as a 18 year old girl that is religious by choice. my question and concern with the whole illuminati thing is false in my eyes it is hard to step into some panicy-box of conspiracy and lies…i might be religious but im not nieve. this is too much to me. this thing about every famous person that made an impact on the world as a whole whether in music or politics is either with illuminati or they are a freemasonary…i am not confused i am just pissed off that i can nolonger enjoy anything without some civilian telling me about the end is near and some other paranoid antics…in short if the illuminati is real and have been in existence sense time before, what made “them” want to uproot a world of worry and panic…why show up now…isn’t it bad enough that people are guilble enough to believe that the world will end in 2012?
if you feel im am too young to understand please help me out…see you in 2013…

While I do not claim to be an expert on religion, history, politics or theology, I know a little about the teachings of the Torah, Moses, Jesus and Paul. Their are good catholic people however the hierarchy of the Catholic church does everything opposite the teachings of Paul, from praying with their heads covered to telling priests not to marry and the ridiculous canonization of “saints” the list goes on. While he does have the position of Disciple Peter is not the cornerstone of anything. The government of the Catholic church itself is a sneer at God because only Jesus will install a government when he returns. The wheat and the chaff clearly are growing together. My point is God has purposes for all of us noble or not, the Catholic Church more than likely will crown the Anti-Christ just like it crowned Napoleon.

I agree Jay, in fact I think I remember reading something that suggest old Rasputin himself was a Freemason. However I think the Orthodox Church is probably under quite a bit less Freemason influence than the Western Church today because of it’s isolation the past 60 or more years.

I really dislike making posts or suggestions about the heirarchy of the Church and Freemasonry but it reaches a point where you just can’t ignore the signs of it.

The Masonic sign use by some members of the Papal delegation during the Washington and Australia visits and the recognition and joke the EWTN panel made of it together with the equally bizarre incident of the 2007 Nativity Scene in St. Peter’s being set in Nazareth instead of Bethlehem are only two of the more recent incidents.
