And my summers have been getting cooler. This is because the sun has been inordinately calm recently. In the nineties, I seem to remember it different ... but it always changes. I lived in a mountainous area in South Africa where bushman once roamed freely. Many of their place names still exist today and one in particular Qwa Qwa (Double click) which in effect means "Whiter than White" describes the snow on its top. For the last twenty years at least there has been no snow on top of that mountain. The winters are also not as cold as they once were.The first year that I was there the average winter temperature was -10 degrees c since then never colder than -5 degrees c.
