I have my doubts. In studying Beethoven, it does not at all seem as if he was capable of keeping deep, dark secrets (Immortal Beloved aside). I believe he dabbled in many religious and quasi-religious philosophies to bolster the understanding of life and to add depth to his music. But, the fit with Freemasonry, and particularly the Illuminati, seems a poor fit for Beethoven. Ya, that's it. I saved it a while back on my pc when I was writing my book about the Illuminati. I'm pretty sure that post was the reason I picked up a copy of Solomon's book in the first place. It is very strange to me that the entire milieu of authentic Bavarian Illuminati surrounding both Beethoven and Mozart has been glossed over, and mentioned only in serious bios of the two. We always hear about Mozart being a Mason, and the Masons in turn have always sought to find evidence of Beethoven being a member; but if anything, the connections to the Bavarian Illuminati are even more solidly established. My guess is that the Masons are still sore about the Illuminati using Lodges as their own little playthings!
