Conditioning by Music, Part 1

Sunday, July 19th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Dennis L. Cuddy, Ph.D. - July 13, 2009

On the back of the cover page of my The Road to Socialism and the New World Order, I have a picture of the famous Fabian Socialist window with its inscription “Remould it nearer to the heart’s desire.” So is it any wonder that President Obama’s policies are moving us toward Socialism when at a townhall meeting in Arnold, Missouri, on April 29, 2009, he said “We’re working to remake America”? He will remake (remould) America (it) nearer to his heart’s desire, and that is as an increasingly Socialist nation. If you doubt Obama is doing this, look at his appointment of Carol Browner as Assistant to the President for Energy and Climate Change. She’s been a member of Socialist International (SI) Commission for a Sustainable World Society, and there is a photo of her addressing SI’s XXIII Congress in Athens, Greece on June 30, 2008. She is a strong supporter of “cap-and-trade” carbon emission controls, which will send many more American jobs overseas.

According to Fabian Socialist George Bernard Shaw, they (Fabian Socialists) set out to “Educate, Agitate, Organize.” Relevant to “Organize,” Obama was a community “organizer” following the model of Saul Alinsky, author of Rules for Radicals (1971), which had an acknowledgement to Lucifer at the front. Relevant to “Educate,” John Lloyd (former executive director of the Kansas National Education Association) said that this Alinsky book has been the “bible” of the National Education Association (NEA). And relevant to “Agitate,” Alinsky wrote that the radical organizer “dedicated to changing the life of a particular community must first rub raw the resentments of the people of the community; fan the latent hostilities of many of the people to the point of overt expression. He must search out controversy and issues…. An organizer must stir up dissatisfaction and discontent….” Obama has been a radical organizer “dedicated to changing” America, which is now headed down the path toward Socialism as desired by the Fabians.

Survival of the Richest: Obama’s Corporate Stimulus Package

Survival of the Richest: Obama’s Corporate Stimulus Package

Paul and Phillip Collins | 2009-06-24 - Just how many other states have used stimulus dollars to curry favor with corporations? If this is the case, corporate interests stand to become the chief beneficiaries of the federal stimulus program. If stimulus money is being used by states to court corporations, then taxpayer dollars are being used to subsidize the relocation of already existing jobs. Such a state of affairs hardly fosters economic growth. Infrastructure is not being built, just displaced. Meanwhile, the fiscal stimulus, which is constituted by taxpayer dollars, only stimulates Big Business. In this sense, the Obama Administration’s economic recovery plan could actually be nothing more than the conduit for an enormous wealth transferral to corporate interests. Simultaneously, the economic recovery plan could be fostering a social Darwinian climate where states must use stimulus funds as weapons in a struggle for economic survival.

The Faustian Face of Modern Science: Understanding the Epistemological Foundations of Scientific Totalitarianism

liberty 1763Phillip D. Collins | 2009-06-11 - Scientific totalitarianism is certainly not a new topic in the halls of political science and history. Given its bloody legacy of democide (i.e., state-sanctioned genocide, mass murder, and politicide) and its prolific spread throughout the world, scientific totalitarianism remains a preoccupying sociopolitical phenomenon of the 20th century. Yet, few researchers have examined the epistemological foundations of scientific totalitarianism. In turn, an understanding of scientific totalitarianism’s epistemological roots elucidates an occult conception of science, which edified the sundry Weltanschauungs of sociopolitical Utopians (e.g., socialists of either the communist or fascist ilk). In light of this core epistemological commonality, all forms of sociopolitical Utopianism could be considered the manifestations of a trans-historical occult counterculture movement.

Brave New World - Film, Lit and the NWO

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

http://www.corbettreport.com

In this installment of “Film, Literature and the New World Order,” The Corbett Report explores Aldous Huxley’s classic work of science-fiction, Brave New World. Brave New World is a dystopic vision of a nightmare future in which worker drones are engineered from birth to perform slave labour for a world dictatorship. Even more frighteningly, the workers have even been engineered to love their servitude. Most frightening of all, Huxley’s own family background and experience might show that Brave New World is not so completely fictional as we would like to believe…

The Godfather of American Liberalism

Monday, June 1st, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

H. G. Wells: novelist, historian, authoritarian, anticapitalist, eugenicist, and advisor to presidents

by Fred Siegel

Modern American liberalism, as it emerged in the 1920s, was animated by a revolt against the masses. Liberal thinkers accused the great unwashed of smothering creative individuals in a blanket of materialist, spiritually empty cultural conformity. The liberal project was, so to speak, to refound America by replacing its business civilization—a “dictatorship of the middle class,” as Vernon Parrington put it—with a new, more highly evolved leadership. But along with the ideal of the spontaneous, creative individual, liberals also embraced government economic planning, which depended on making people more predictable. The tension between the two aspirations was resolved, rhetorically at least, by proposing to place power in the hands of scientists, academics, artists, and professionals, a new and truly worthy aristocracy that could govern based on what was good for both leaders and the led.

These antidemocratic and elitist assumptions were nowhere better illustrated than in the extraordinary career of a Briton, H. G. Wells. Wells is best remembered today as the author of such late-nineteenth-century socio-scientific fantasies as The Time Machine, The War of the Worlds, and The Invisible Man. But he was much more than that. His political writing achieved extraordinary influence in America, not just through his defense of liberal freedoms such as free speech but through his hostility to population growth, capitalism, and democracy itself.

Silver and Gold, ‘Star Trek,’ and the Truth About E.T.

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

John Bowman - May 12, 2009

Several years ago, I remember reading an historical analysis of alien movies and other popular media, with an interesting conclusion that went something like this: With a few notable exceptions, during times of war, widespread geopolitical strife or general oppression or misery, E.T. is generally depicted in popular media as a benevolent visitor, yet in times of peace or general prosperity, E.T. is instead portrayed as a merciless invader. The study tracked several cycles back and forth from aliens being good guys and bad guys, saviors or slavers. I suppose Orwell might have a thing or two to say about that, as would any political skeptic: the masses must have an enemy (even if it is imaginary and lives beyond the stars) in order to keep them “united for the common good” and their attentions diverted from the sleight-of-hand (or “mouth” as it were).

In fact, there is some pretty credible evidence that the entire sci-fi domain (at least insofar as films are concerned) is nothing if not a gentle, alluring introduction to the monstrous tenets of Karl Marx and his deplorable Communism. Take Star Trek, for instance (since a new movie is coming soon – Here I give my apologies in advance to Star Trek fans. My intent is not to taint or diminish your enjoyment of those productions, but rather to leverage certain facts to make what I believe is an interesting conclusion).

What swine flu reveals about the culture of fear

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

As health officials tell us ‘all of humanity is under threat’, Frank Furedi provides a guide to today’s various species of scaremonger.

Frank Furedi - 5 May 2009

When Margaret Chan, head of the World Heath Organisation, raised the pandemic threat alert from four to five in response to the swine flu outbreak, she had no qualms about using the language of fear. ‘All of humanity is under threat’, she declared.

When, in the future, historians look back on this performance of fear, and on the swine flu panic more broadly, they will surely ask themselves: was Chan speaking as a public health official or as a moral entrepreneur? It is striking that Chan, like most fear entrepreneurs, does not perceive her behaviour as being in any way illegitimate or unduly alarmist. Indeed, she, like other fearmongers, qualified her warning with a reassuring statement: ‘Don’t panic.’

This combination of fear-promotion with the rhetoric of reassurance is a key aspect of the modern-day narrative of fear. Consider Chan’s warning that WHO is likely to raise its flu alert to the top of its six-point scale and declare a pandemic. This time she did not talk about the threat to ‘all of humanity’ and the danger of human extinction. ‘Level six does not mean, in any way, that we are facing the end of the world’, she said, before noting that ‘it is important to make this clear because [otherwise], when we announce level six, it will cause unnecessary panic’.

Think What We Think…Or Else: Thought Control on the American Campus

In 2007, the University of Delaware’s Office of Residence Life used mandatory activities to coerce students to change their thoughts, values, attitudes, beliefs, and habits to conform to a highly specified social, environmental, and political agenda. Following FIRE’s campaign, which called the attention of the national media and the blogosphere to the Orwellian program, university President Patrick Harker terminated the program, effective immediately. This video explains the program’s invasive thought-reform activities, the horrified reactions of students and the press, and FIRE’s response.

Spiritual Reorganization of the Civilized World

The words of one woman explain a great deal about what is happening in our world today, including the recent Missouri Highway Patrol report on militia activity that caused such a stir among conservatives and libertarians that it had to be withdrawn.

But before we identify the woman, let me remind you about Auguste Comte, the crazy Frenchman, who in 1851 published the first volume of his System of Positive Polity. In it he boasted:

“The object of our philosophy is to direct the spiritual reorganization of the civilized world. . . we may begin at once to construct that system of morality under which the final regeneration of Humanity will proceed.” P, 35, 36

Obamanoids … For Real!

Thursday, April 9th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

This doesn’t seem so farfetched after all. It surfaced during the presidential campaign. “An Examination of Obama’s Use of Hidden Hypnosis Techniques in His Speeches” purports to contain “over 60 pages of evidence and analysis proving Barack Obama’s use of a little-known and highly deceptive and manipulative form of ‘hack’ hypnosis on millions of unaware Americans, and reveals what only a few psychologists and hypnosis/NLP experts know.” It deserves a serious look in light of the following.

Time Magazine has written a story on Obama’s use of brainwashing scientists, hired to influence, persuade and control the masses.

Brian Gerrish on Edge Media TV

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Brian Gerrish, is a former naval officer and anti-submarine warfare expert, who, together with colleagues throughout the country, has conducted detailed research into ‘Common Purpose’, a mysterious collective which seeks to by-pass the British democratic system by setting up unelected quangoes with extreme European federalist agendas. According to Gerrish, there is now almost no strata of the BBC, NHS, local government, police forces, regional structures, armed forces, government departments, communications media and industry, which has not in some way been infiltrated or influenced by Common Purpose and other related initiatives designed to weaken British sovereignty and increase outside control.

Brian Gerrish states: ‘The power of the state has grown dramatically in the last ten years. Spending on Quangoes is now five times greater than the defence budget. To whom or what is this new army of officials loyal? Is there a common ideology driving the transformation of the police forces, public services, local councils, public/private partnerships and other agencies, many of whose officers are members of the ‘Common Purpose’ organisation?’
