The Establishment is Fighting to Stay Alive as the Globe Reaches a Critical Juncture in History

Old-Thinker News | July 28, 2010

The world, it seams, is reaching a critical juncture in history. Current trends are pointing towards dramatic changes in government and society. Long standing institutions are scrambling to stay afloat as new rivals challenge old ideas. Meanwhile, the global elite, foreseeing these changes, is fighting to retain control over a global system that is being torn apart by economic meltdown and a global political awakening. As top global strategists like Zbigniew Brzezinski have admitted, cracks are forming in the many bases of establishment control.

Global Political Awakening

Global governance has been a long term goal of elites for decades. However, a global political awakening is taking place that is proving to be a major stumbling block under the feet of the world’s elite. During a recent Council on Foreign Relations meeting in Montreal, Zbigniew Brzezinski admitted that, “Mankind is now politically awakened and stirring,” stating that a fractured elite “…makes it a much more difficult context for any major power, including currently the leading world power, the United States.”

In an earlier speech in 2009, Brzezinski elaborated further, saying, “…in early times, it was easier to control a million people, literally it was easier to control a million people than physically to kill a million people. Today, it is infinitely easier to kill a million people than to control a million people. It is easier to kill than to control….”

False Flag Operations: The Crisis Route to the New World Order

Monday, May 10th, 2010 - by Terry Melanson

Deanna Spingola, 10 May 2010

David Rockefeller said, “All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order.” Rahm Emanuel said, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” In the Project for a New American Century document Rebuilding America’s Defenses: Strategy, Forces and Resources for a New Century we find the following: “Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor.”1

False Flag (choreographed catastrophes) operations have been used for generations for various motives: the seizure of additional land and/or natural/mineral resources (domestic or foreign), the acquisition of cheap labor, economic destabilization, the military depopulation of indigenous populations, the destruction of religious or political ideologies, the establishment of political tyranny or a coup d’état (as experienced after 9/11 with the establishment of the PATRIOT Act and the Department of Homeland Security), to assist an allegedly threatened ally or to protect U.S. citizens living in a foreign country. The foundational factor in the majority of all false flag operations is the imposition of greater restrictions on worldwide residential populations in order to implement internationalism or globalism, formerly known as the utopian New World Order under the direction of an elite hierarchy. False flag catastrophes include terrorist attacks, assassinations of political leaders, “natural” disasters, industrial “accidents,” armed assaults against citizens (Waco, Ruby Ridge, Kent State), economic assaults in the form of economic crashes like 1929 or more recently the banker bailouts, both massive redistribution scams. The prevailing feature in all of these circumstances, whether manmade or “natural,” is the transference of culpability followed by the government’s predictable exploitation of any and all circumstances.

The Fateful Geological Prize Called Haiti

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010 - by Terry Melanson

F. William Engdahl, January 30, 2010

President becomes UN Special Envoy to earthquake-stricken Haiti.

A born-again neo-conservative US business wheeler-dealer preacher claims Haitians are condemned for making a literal ‘pact with the Devil.’

Venezuelan, Nicaraguan, Bolivian, French and Swiss rescue organizations accuse the US military of refusing landing rights to planes bearing necessary medicines and urgently needed potable water to the millions of Haitians stricken, injured and homeless.

Behind the smoke, rubble and unending drama of human tragedy in the hapless Caribbean country, a drama is in full play for control of what geophysicists believe may be one of the world’s richest zones for hydrocarbons-oil and gas outside the Middle East, possibly orders of magnitude greater than that of nearby Venezuela.

Haiti, and the larger island of Hispaniola of which it is a part, has the geological fate that it straddles one of the world’s most active geological zones, where the deepwater plates of three huge structures relentlessly rub against one another—the intersection of the North American, South American and Caribbean tectonic plates. Below the ocean and the waters of the Caribbean, these plates consist of an oceanic crust some 3 to 6 miles thick, floating atop an adjacent mantle. Haiti also lies at the edge of the region known as the Bermuda Triangle, a vast area in the Caribbean subject to bizarre and unexplained disturbances.

This vast mass of underwater plates are in constant motion, rubbing against each other along lines analogous to cracks in a broken porcelain vase that has been reglued. The earth’s tectonic plates typically move at a rate 50 to 100 mm annually in relation to one another, and are the origin of earthquakes and of volcanoes. The regions of convergence of such plates are also areas where vast volumes of oil and gas can be pushed upwards from the Earth’s mantle. The geophysics surrounding the convergence of the three plates that run more or less directly beneath Port-au-Prince make the region prone to earthquakes such as the one that struck Haiti with devastating ferocity on January 12.

Future world order and world parliament discussed at Bahá’í conference

Thursday, November 12th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

03 November 2009 - UNPA

This year’s conference of the Francophone European Association for Bahá’í Studies (Association francophone européenne des études bahá’íes, AFEEB) on 24 and 25 October 2009 in Luxembourg discussed the future world order and global governance.

The programme included a presentation of the concept of a United Nations Parliamentary Assembly (UNPA) by the Chairman of the Committee for a Democratic U.N., Andreas Bummel. Outlining the path towards a directly elected world parliament, Mr Bummel stressed the “spiritual dimension” of the efforts. “The establishment of a UN Parliamentary Assembly would represent a changed consciousness. For the first time in human history such a body would establish a direct political connection between every human being and the planet,” Mr Bummel said.

Daniel Schaubacher, European Bahá’í Business Forum, and Jean-Francis Billion, Council Member of the World Federalist Movement, further elaborated on the representation of the peoples in the United Nations and the efforts towards world democracy. Among other things Mr Billion stressed the success of the international coalition of non-governmental organizations which advocated the establishment of the International Criminal Court. Mr Billion noted that the World Federalist Movement spearheaded this effort and that the International Bahá’í Community was part of the coalition. In the discussion it was agreed that the Coalition for the International Criminal Court is a good example to draw upon in the efforts for a UNPA.

Further speakers at the conference included, among others, Esther Zana-Nau, Programme Manager at the International Master Programme in Social Policy Analyis IMPALLA who gave an introduction into globalization and global governance.

For Bahá’ís, the term “new world order” has a special and clear-cut meaning. More than one hundred years ago, Bahá’u'lláh, the founder of the Bahá’í Faith, invoked the phrase to categorize a future series of momentous changes in the political, social and religious life of the world. According to Bahá’u'lláh, these changes include the setting up of a world government, an elected world parliament, a binding world tribunal, and a world police force.

Folding the US Into a Single Global Currency

Thursday, November 12th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

The U.S. dollar is one of many symbols of U.S. power after World War II and after the end of the Cold War, but we are now in an increasingly multipolar collegial world, according to Morrison Bonpasse, president of the Single Global Currency Association. A multicurrency system simply does not provided the stability now needed, he argues.

Theodore F. di Stefano - 11/03/09

There have been several suggestions by China, Brazil, Russia and other countries, and by a U.N. Commission headed by Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz, as well as by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development for a new global reserve currency to replace the U.S. dollar. Increasingly, the media are running stories and comments about the “demise of the dollar.”

Recently, I asked the president of the Single Global Currency Association, Morrison Bonpasse, about his take on the future of the U.S. dollar and the global monetary system. In previous interviews, we’ve explored the idea of a single global currency.

An Imperial Strategy for a New World Order: The Origins of World War III Part 1

Monday, October 19th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Andrew Gavin Marshall - October 16, 2009

In the face of total global economic collapse, the prospects of a massive international war are increasing. Historically, periods of imperial decline and economic crisis are marked by increased international violence and war. The decline of the great European empires was marked by World War I and World War II, with the Great Depression taking place in the intermediary period.

Currently, the world is witnessing the decline of the American empire, itself a product born out of World War II. As the post-war imperial hegemon, America ran the international monetary system and reigned as champion and arbitrator of the global political economy.

To manage the global political economy, the US has created the single largest and most powerful military force in world history. Constant control over the global economy requires constant military presence and action.

Now that both the American empire and global political economy are in decline and collapse, the prospect of a violent end to the American imperial age is drastically increasing.

Who really is behind ‘Russia Today’?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Matthew D. Jarvie - September 24, 2009

Russia Today has gained huge popularity over the past year among followers of the “alternative” media. While RT does feature news pieces about topics not regularly discussed in the American mainstream media, for a while I have wondered why the Russian media would have an interest in things pertaining to the New World Order, such as the manufactured banking crisis and the reality behind 9/11. After all, hasn’t Russia several times called for a New World Order and a one world currency?

Russia Today is sponsored by the state-owned Russian news agency, RIA-Novosti. Novosti was, and still is, essentially an arm of the KGB. Many believe the KGB ceased to exist with the fall of the Iron Curtain, but those who know better understand that this just isn’t the case. The Soviet system was never abolished, rather moved underground. The KGB simply changed its name and is now called the FSB (Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation).

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Paul Bedard, Washington Whispers

The Cold War is making a cameo on the international stage in November when major political figures of the time join in a reunion to celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall 20 years ago. Whispers hears that former Kremlin chief Mikhail Gorbachev, former West German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, and former President George H. W. Bush plan to huddle in Berlin to talk about the tumultuous—but surprisingly peaceful—times that led to the end of the Cold War and breakup of the Soviet Union.

Obama’s Socialist Revolution: Old Wine in Ancient Casks

Monday, August 31st, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Servando Gonzalez - August 20, 2009

In his book The New World Order, published in 1940, (you may download the full text of the book clicking here) Fabian socialist H.G. Wells explained in clear terms the Fabian’s plan to implement the New World Order through psychological warfare techniques against the peoples of the world.

Wells begins his argument with a short introduction in which he argued, “the system of nationalist individualism and uncoordinated enterprise” is “the world’s disease, and it is why the whole system has to go. It has to be reconditioned down to its foundations or replaced.” Wells is clearly advocating for the elimination of national borders and sovereign states as political entities, because, he argues, nationalism is a disease threatening to destroy the world. He doesn’t mention, however, that international bankers have been the major force behind the curtains pushing national governments to war and profiting from it.

Also, what he calls “uncoordinated enterprise” is true free market non-monopolistic capitalism, a system the international bankers despise and abhor. One must keep in mind that John D. Rockefeller’s guiding principle in business was “competition is a sin.” No wonder Clinton Roosevelt and later Karl Marx, both of them secret disinformation agents for their monopolistic masters, made “competition is a sin” a cardinal principle of their Communist ideology.
