Black Artisans, Black Dogs, and the B(l)ack-to-front Language

Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

An absolutely fascinating piece of subject matter has presented itself to me of recent days, the Céile Dé Priest Masons, or as they are better known, the Culdees. I will be looking further into them, a lot further, especially as I’ve received what is meant to be the sacred book of this priesthood; The Kolbrin. I’ll be posting more intensive, in depth articles on group in the future but I’ll go with a more free-flowing synch-spech format here. Expect errors that will be corrected in later, more exacting posts.

Consider the following etymological investigation for the Boaz-Over blog (the entire piece there is well worth a read. An eye opener for me on the possibilities for this subject), an article called “The Word Cowan (Part 2)

Secret Societies, Freemasonry, Cronyism and Conspiracy: Answers

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Theirs and mine…

Many so called secret societies figure in conspiracy theories as bodies, secretly ruling the world. But do you think some of these societies accomplished something really significant in reality? Or are they only ordinary groups of people with common interests who maybe sometimes delight in being seen in mysterious way?

The heyday of secret societies occurred during the 18th Century. We see the birth of Freemasonry-proper along with its enumerable offshoots or extensions, as well as the more socio-political variety represented by the Bavarian Illuminati. But, all of them - without exception - as you say - “delight[ed] in being seen in [a] mysterious way.”

The Age of Enlightenment or the Age of Criticism also gave birth to the modern conspiracy theory. And this is due, in large measure, to the very real machinations of the Bavarian Illuminati. When John Robison wrote Proofs of a Conspiracy in 1797; a more apt title there was not. Through defectors from the secret society itself to the confiscation of internal correspondences by the government, it was learned that the Illuminati’s sole raison d’être was infiltration and subversion – a conspiracy through-and-through. One did not need further “theorizing,” for the Illuminati was a concrete manifestation of everyone’s worst fears.

Alum says Yale should speak out about Geronimo

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

by Carole Bass

Yale seems reluctant to dig into the controversy over whether Skull and Bones has Geronimo’s skull and bones. But the university’s most prominent Native American alumnus wants his alma mater to take a stand.

A federal lawsuit by Geronimo’s great-grandson is on hold for now against the university and the secret society. Nonetheless, “I would like to see Yale say to Skull and Bones, ‘Give them back whatever you have or you’re finished at Yale,’” says Sam Deloria ‘64, recipient of the university’s first Native Alumni Achievement Award in 2005.

Deloria, a member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and director of the American Indian Graduate Center in New Mexico, recognizes that “that’s not going to happen,” thanks to what he calls “institutional cowardice” and the “powerful, powerful people” — including both Bush presidents — who belong to Skull and Bones.

Downard Redux

Thursday, March 19th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Adam Gorightly - March 14, 2009

Up on the Binnall of America site is a recent interview focusing on my latest book, James Shelby Downard’s Mystical War. In response, Chris Knowles over at his Solar Satellite blog suggests that Downard was a paranoid schiz who was perhaps institutionalized and subjected to Jungian analysis, thus the “creation” of his theories. In other words, Jungian synchronicities formed a vast Masonic conspiratorial world view in Downard’s seemingly mad mind. However, it should be noted, I’ve come across no evidence whatsoever suggesting that Downard ever visited a loony bin. (Other than this one we all live in!)

One area discussed in the Binnall interview was the issue of Downard’s actual existence, and how I came to the conclusion that it certainly appears he was an actual living, breathing entity, as opposed to the popular theory that “James Shelby Downard” was a literary hoax. In this regard, after hearing said interview, an email correspondent sent me the following link, attesting to the Downard Family tree branching out to JSD’s probable birthplace in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Owl of Wisdom Symbolism

Monday, March 9th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Just in case you missed it (and most did). And because I hadn’t made it clear in the article; the owl of Minerva holding an opened book is the insignia of the Bavarian Illuminati - not the “all-seeing eye,” and especially not the reverse of the Great Seal of America. What’s more, the article (”Owl of Wisdom: Illuminati, Bohemian Club, Schlaraffia, James Gordon Bennett Jr.“) shows two examples of the insignia (2 of 3 known to still exist).

Adam Weishaupt continued to utilized the motif after he had went into exile - this is why Barruel wrote in his Memoirs Illustrating the History of Jacobinism, that Weishaupt “adopted the bird of night for his emblem.”

Masonic historian Arturo de Hoyos:

This design, with the addition of the letters P.M.C.V. (per me caeci vident : through me the blind see), was cast or hand-graved as a jewel to be worn by Minervals. There is no record of how many were made, and only three are known to exist: one in a private collection in Ansbach, Germany; one in a private American collection; and one in the Deutsches Freimaurermuseum Bayreuth. A photograph of this last one appears in Freimaurer Solange die Welt besteht (Historisches Museum der Stadt Wien, 1993), p. 314.

The Solution to the Geronimo Skull and Bones ‘Mystery’

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Ron Rosenbaum - February 20th, 2009

It never seems to end. But, as someone who was the first to write about Skull and Bones in a major magazine (September ‘77 Esquire, reprinted in my collection The Secret Parts of Fortune — see right side rail of this blog) and the first to expose — on videotape! — a key part of the pathetically childish Bones initiation ritual, I once again feel called upon to set straight one of the most persistent Skull and Bones urban legends. That would be the Geronimo’s skull theft story which according to this Times story has now morphed into a lawsuit, the product of a cross breeding of cupidity and stupidity.

The original cupidity and stupidity can be attributed — surprise — to George Bush’s grandfather Prescott Bush, a member of the Yale secret society who boasted, according to a letter unearthed a few years ago, that he had, along with some other idiot Bonesmen, stolen what they were told was the skull of Geronimo.

Skull and Bones “Crook” for the Tomb

Thursday, February 19th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

Alleged grave robbers, clockwise from top left: Prescott Bush '17, Charles C. Haffner '19, Henry Neil Mallon '17, and Ellery James '17. Haffner, who is credited with the theft of Geronimo's skull in the recently discovered letter, went on to become a general in World War II and then chair of the printing company R. R. Donnelly & Sons. A purported Skull and Bones account of the theft, leaked in the 1980s, identifies the other three by name. Bush became a Connecticut businessman, a U.S. senator, and the father and grandfather of two U.S. presidents. Mallon became chair of the oilfield service company Dresser Industries and the first employer of George H. W. Bush '48. James was a banker with Brown Brothers Harriman until his untimely death in 1932 (from Yale Alumni Magazine)

On Feb. 17, the 100-year anniversary of Apache warrior Geronimo’s death, his descendants filed a suit in Washington. According to the Washington Post, the defendants are “President Obama, the secretaries of defense and the Army, Yale University and the Order of Skull and Bones” - and, presumably, the Russell Trust Association as well.

Geronimo v. Obama, 09-cv-303, U.S. District Court, District of Columbia, seeks to “[t]o ensure that all existing remains of Geronimo and funerary objects are recovered by Geronimo’s lineal descendants, the Order of Skull & Bones at Yale University must account for any such articles that are or have been in their possession,” Bloomberg reported.

It concerns the 1918 grave robbery, by four Skull and Bones members: Prescott Bush 1917, Charles C. Haffner ‘19, Henry Neil Mallon ‘17, and Ellery James ‘17.

In the 1980’s an Apache leader, Ned Anderson, was making inquiries into the remains of Geronimo, buried at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, when he received a document from an anonymous Skull and Bones member. The informant said that “in May of 1918, Prescott Bush and five other officers at Fort Sill desecrated the grave of Geronimo. They took turns watching while they robbed the grave, taking items including a skull, some other bones, a horse bit and straps. These prizes were taken back to the Tomb, the home of the Skull and Bones Society at Yale in New Haven, Connecticut. They were put into a display case, which members and visitors could easily view upon entry to the building.”

Here’s an excerpt from the document, titled Continuation of the History of Our Order for the Century Celebration, 17 June 1933, by The Little Devil of D’121:

From the war days [W.W. I] also sprang the mad expedition from the School of Fire at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, that brought to the T[omb] its most spectacular “crook,” the skull of Geronimo the terrible, the Indian Chief who had taken forty-nine white scalps. An expedition in late May, 1918, by members of four Clubs [i.e. four graduating-class years of the Society], Xit D.114, Barebones, Caliban and Dingbat, D.115, S’Mike D.116, and Hellbender D.117, planned with great caution since in the words of one of them: “Six army captains robbing a grave wouldn’t look good in the papers.” The stirring climax was recorded by Hellbender in the Black Book of D.117: “… The ring of pick on stone and thud of earth on earth alone disturbs the peace of the prairie. An axe pried open the iron door of the tomb, and Pat[riarch] Bush entered and started to dig. We dug in turn, each on relief taking a turn on the road as guards…. Finally Pat[riarch] Ellery James turned up a bridle, soon a saddle horn and rotten leathers followed, then wood and then, at the exact bottom of the small round hole, Pat[riarch] James dug deep and pried out the trophy itself…. We quickly closed the grave, shut the door and sped home to Pat[riarch] Mallon’s room, where we cleaned the Bones. Pat[riarch] Mallon sat on the floor liberally applying carbolic acid. The Skull was fairly clean, having only some flesh inside and a little hair. I showered and hit the hay … a happy man….”

And yes, PBK is a very high step in the Masonic pyramid, far above the Freemies.

The Mystical Kabbalistic-Rosicrucian-Gnostic Order of the Mustard Seed

Thursday, January 29th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

I found a curious item the other day. At DeceptionBytes, Mishel wrote a post titled ‘The Hidden Agenda of The Order of the Mustard Seed.’ The first two paragraphs of which, are:

Peter Grieg of the 24-7 Prayer Movement, an international, ecumenical movement laced with Gnostic, New-Age, and Contemplative spirituality, is reviving the 17th century Order of the Mustard Seed and encouraging members to take a lifelong vow of commitment. This commitment to the vows of the Order, are to be symbolized with a ring or tattoo. The Order of the Mustard seed, which was originally a secret order started by Count Nikolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf, is a long dormant Masonic Order. Greig says he was inspired to resurrect the order by the 18th century Moravian renewal and the life of Count Zinzendorf.  In fact, many of those in the Apostolic and Prophetic Movement, who embrace a world-view by which they believe themselves God’s Champions, bringing Heaven to Earth, have a rabid fascination with Zinzendorf and the Moravians.

Why, are so many of the ministries that seek to “take” the world for Christ, enraptured by the Moravians and why do the Moravians wield this kind of influence over this “New Breed” of Christian “emerging” in today’s post modern church era? In order to understand the horrific significance of the resurrection of this Order and the overall draw of Zinzendorf’s Moravians, it is first imperative to understand the history of this movement and how it fits together with today’s stringent social and political agenda.

The full name of the secret society was the Order of the Grain of Mustard Seed. I’m reading a book right now by Marsha Schuchard called Why Mrs Blake Cried: William Blake and the Erotic Imagination - a book-length expansion of her earlier scholarly article. There’s some rare info on Zinzendorf, Swedenborg, William Blake and the Masonic Sabbatean-Kabbalistic (antinomian) milieu of the 18th Century. The Mustard Seed secret society is mentioned a few times, too.

In an email Monday, L.G. wrote:

I’ve been searching for materials about the Illuminati (I read yesterday some of your notes on “May Day” and the Illuminati - quite interesting and helpful!) and there is one historical personage that keeps popping up in my searches: Saint Germain, the so-called “Wonderman of Europe”. I don’t know if he was an “illuminatus”, but his persistent connections to May 1st in the New Age Movement are very interesting. According to some sources, he “ascended” on May 1st 1684, and was crowned as the new “Chohan” (Planetary Lord) on May 1st 1954. I know these are just New Age inventions, with no historical value, but anyway the choice of that day is curious, to say the least.

While reading Manly P. Hall’s “The Secret Destiny of America”, I noticed he mentioned a person –not named in the book– who apparently influenced the creation of the american flag and called himself “The Professor”. What I wanted to know is if you know, from your own studies, if this man had anything to do with the well-known european aristocrat who called himself the Count of Saint Germain. If there was a connection, and if there was any possibility for him to have been a member of the Bavarian Illuminati, maybe this could explain the connection between the New Age “Ascended Master” Saint Germain and the day of the foundation of the Bavarian Illuminati.

By the way, as I’m talking about Saint Germain and the New Age Movement, maybe you’ll find curious the fact that certain new age circles working with this “ascended master” use a kind of violet disc with a dot in the middle as a tool for “spiritual exercises”. You can see it here (the fourth from above):
http://www.naveluz.arq.br/download.htm

This, amazingly, reminds me of the point within a circle used by the Illuminati to designate their Order. What do you think about all this?

Thanks for your time and attention.

The short answer, is no; Saint Germain wasn’t a member of the Illuminati. His name doesn’t appear on any authentic membership list, nor would you expect to find it. Quite the opposite.

Inauguration: The Beast Enters the Gates

For many, the January 20 Presidential inauguration of Barack Obama is reason for celebration. Obama supporters everywhere believe that the event represents the introduction of the solution to America’s deepening crisis. It would break not a few hearts, however, if it was revealed that the enemies of America are going to be in attendance. According to a January 14 Associated Press article, a prayer will be offered at the inauguration by Ingrid Mattson, the first woman president of America’s largest Muslim group, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) (Zoll, “Muslim woman, rabbis to pray at inaugural service”). While many Americans may believe that this prayer offering represents a celebration of religious pluralism, the hidden message behind this display, which is only discernible to the power elite and the most astute observer, is that members of the Establishment will continue their torrent love affair with the Muslim Brotherhood. The first installment of this series established the Muslim Brotherhood as a dangerous organization that is partially responsible for spawning al Qaeda. Furthermore, the Brotherhood has a long running, symbiotic relationship with the power elite and the darker factions of the United States government and the intelligence community.

Mumbai Attacks in Context: A brief history of Western Intelligence Involvement in ‘Islamic’ Terrorism

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

David Livingstone - January 5th, 2009

When the Americans sought to collapse the Soviet Union and bring a final end to the Cold War, they did not do it head on, but chose to bankrupt that nation by luring it into its own version of the Vietnam War–in Afghanistan. So said Zbigniew Brzezinski, who was Barack Obama’s national security advisor throughout his presidential campaign. Brzezinski has also admitted that the Americans deliberately fostered Islamic militants as part of that strategy.

This turned out to be the largest CIA operation in US history; Americans funded and supported the effort of Afghanistan’s Mujahideen, then ennobled by Reagan as ‘freedom-fighters’, and of course now maligned as ‘terrorists’.

The group the Americans chose to operate through was the Hizb i Islami, an off-shoot of the notorious Muslim Brotherhood, the umbrella organization responsible for all factions of Islamic terrorism, including the likes of Osama bin Laden.
