Source: Rudi Dekkers drug case “will never go to trial”

Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 - by Terry Melanson

March 6, 2013 - Daniel Hopsicker

The upcoming trial in Houston of Rudi Dekkers for drug trafficking has been pushed back and may now never happen, according to a lawyer close to the case.

“The case has been continued, and a plea agreement is in the works,” said the attorney, who asked for anonymity. “The case will never go to trial. That’s all I can say.”

The Asst U.S. Attorney declined comment, as did a representative from Floyd Carlson Choate, the prominent Houston law firm recently retained by Dekkers. In a brief phone conversation in which he declined comment, partner Chistopher Choate confirmed he is from the old New England family whose name adorns prestigious Connecticut boarding school Choate.

In the aftermath of the 9/11 attack, it was Rudi Dekkers’ running account of the character and personality of Mohamed Atta and the other terrorists which transfixed a nation and the world. He was everywhere on television.

“Evil in Our Backyard:” The Rudi Dekkers Dossier

Monday, February 18th, 2013 - by Terry Melanson

Daniel Hopsicker - December 21, 2012

When Rudi Dekkers, the man who ran the flight school where terrorists who crashed airliners into the Twin Towers learned to fly was arrested for drug trafficking in Houston last week, one of the first congratulatory calls I received, after covering his continuing criminal activity for the past ten years, was from his son.

That’s right…his son.

By almost any measure, the 9/11 attack was the most spectacular event in recorded history, witnessed worldwide—live—by many hundreds of millions (some say billions) of people. For dramatic impact, nothing else comes even close.

That’s why it was so strange that the American institution which played a crucial role in the story—Huffman Aviation in the tiny retirement community of Venice, on Florida’s sleepy Gulf Coast—was completely ignored as a subject for investigative journalism by the mainstream media.

Tarpley CSPAN Debate “9-11, False Flags, and Black Ops” 2012

Monday, June 4th, 2012 - by Terry Melanson

Tarpley pulverizes them. (Is that our friend Jay in the audience!?)

David Frum, Jonathan Kay, and Webster Tarpley on C-SPAN 2, Saturday, April 28 2012 http://booktv.org/ .

Tarpley onstage at the International Spy Museum in Washington DC with two leading neocons, both from Canada. This debate is especially relevant coming as it does as the little Ribbentrops of the NATO foreign ministries escalate their campaign for a near-term attack on Syria and/or Iran, which might well be assisted by a Wag-The-Dog event, false flag terrorist provocation, or replay of the Gulf of Tonkin fraud. The program is airing between the first and second rounds of the French presidential elections, when the desire of Washington and London to keep their asset Sarkozy in power may create a short-term dynamic in the same direction. The broadcast will help viewers understand what kinds of vigilance are required to preserve world peace.

Saudi Royal Ties To 9/11 Hijackers Via Florida Saudi Family?

Tuesday, October 4th, 2011 - by Terry Melanson

By Russ Baker on Sep 22, 2011

WhoWhatWhy has found evidence linking the Saudi royal family to Saudis in South Florida who reportedly had direct contact with the 9/11 hijackers before fleeing the United States just prior to the attacks. Our report connects some of the dots first laid out by investigative author Anthony Summers and Florida-based journalist Dan Christensen in articles jointly published in the Miami Herald and on the nonprofit news site BrowardBulldog.org.

In early September of this year, Summers and Christensen reported that a secret FBI probe, never shared with Congressional investigators or the presidential 9/11 commission, had uncovered information indicating the possibility of support for the hijackers from previously unknown confederates in the United States during 2001.

Now WhoWhatWhy reveals that those alleged confederates were closely tied to influential members of the Saudi ruling elite.

9/11 Cover-Up Remains While Questions Mount

Saturday, September 18th, 2010 - by Terry Melanson

Eric Margolis - September 11, 2010

“America’s strategic and economic interests in the Mideast and Muslim world are being threatened by the agony in Palestine, which inevitably invites terrorist attacks against US citizens and property.”

Ever since 9/11, readers keep asking me my views on these attacks. I have been barraged with emails until my head spins with engineering studies about melting steel, controlled explosions, claims about nefarious plots, and wreckage analysis.

One of the most colorful theories comes from Gen. Hamid Gul, former director of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI. He insists that 9/11 was staged by Israel’s Mossad and a cabal of rightwing US Air Force generals.

I inspected the ruins of the New York’s Twin Towers, atop which I often dined, right after the attack. Downtown Manhattan was enveloped by a hideous, stinking miasma from the attack. I have never smelled anything so awful. It took me days to scrub the foul odor off my body. As a native New Yorker, I was shaken to the core by 9/11 – but hardly surprised, as I had predicted a major attack on the US nine days earlier.

Bombshell: Bin Laden worked for US till 9/11

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

lukery - July 31, 2009

Former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds dropped a bombshell on the Mike Malloy radio show, guest-hosted by Brad Friedman (audio, partial transcript).

In the interview, Sibel says that the US maintained ‘intimate relations’ with Bin Laden, and the Taliban, “all the way until that day of September 11.”

These ‘intimate relations’ included using Bin Laden for ‘operations’ in Central Asia, including Xinjiang, China. These ‘operations’ involved using al Qaeda and the Taliban in the same manner “as we did during the Afghan and Soviet conflict,” that is, fighting ‘enemies’ via proxies.

As Sibel has previously described, and as she reiterates in this latest interview, this process involved using Turkey (with assistance from ‘actors from Pakistan, and Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia’) as a proxy, which in turn used Bin Laden and the Taliban and others as a proxy terrorist army.

9/11 and Cyberterrorism: Did the real “cyber 9/11″ happen on 9/11?

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 - by Terry Melanson

James Corbett - 17 July, 2009

Government sources immediately began blaming North Korea for the recent cyberterror attacks on South Korea and the U.S., despite having no evidence to back up those claims. Now, an examination of the evidence by independent computer experts show that the attack seems to have been coordinated from the UK. The hysterical media coverage in the attack's wake, however, echoing the government line that it was likely the work of North Korea, served to cement in the minds of many that this was an act of cyberwarfare.

The idea that this surprisingly unsophisticated attack could have come from a well-organized, hostile state or terrorist group comes as a blessing in disguise to those groups, agencies and advisors who have been calling for greater and greater federal snooping powers in the name of stopping a "cyber 9/11" from happening.

The "cyber 9/11" meme stretches back almost to 9/11 itself. Back in 2003, Mike McConnell, the ex-director of the National Security Agency (NSA), was fearmongering over the possibility of a cyber attack "equivalent to the attack on the World Trade Center" if a new institution were not created to oversee cyber security. Since then, report after report has continued to use the horror of 9/11 as a way of raising public hysteria over "cyber terrorism," a subject more often associated with juvenile hackers and lone misfits than radical terrorist organizations.

9/11 and the “American Inquisition”

Friday, September 12th, 2008 - by Terry Melanson

Michel Chossudovsky - September 11, 2008

Today’s “Global War on Terrorism” is a modern form of inquisition. It has all the essential ingredients of the French and Spanish inquisitions.

Going after ” Islamic terrorists”, carrying out a Worldwide preemptive war to ” protect the Homeland” are used to justify a military agenda.

“The Global War on Terrorism” (GWOT) is presented as a “Clash of Civilizations”, a war between competing values and religions, when in reality it is an outright war of conquest, guided by strategic and economic objectives.

The GWOT is the ideological backbone of the American Empire. It defines US military doctrine, including the preemptive use of nuclear weapons against the “state sponsors” of terrorism.

The preemptive “defensive war” doctrine and the “war on terrorism” against Al Qaeda constitute essential building blocks of America’s National Security Strategy as formulated in early 2002. The objective is to present “preemptive military action” –meaning war as an act of “self-defense” against two categories of enemies, “rogue States” and “Islamic terrorists”, both of which are said to possess weapons of mass destruction.
